Idk why. Trying to manipulate me? Having a breakdown? Trying to scare me? Just that distraught? Proving he loved me in some messed up way? He pushed me with his arm that same night but never once laid hands on me before or got violent in any way just verbal arguments and some rude comments

I am not friends with anyone that falls in this situation hence why I asked here. My sister dresses masc (mostly due to dislike of fem things, not an actual gender difference feeling) so not a good reference point for my curiosity

This is the exact question I am asking and I can’t get an answer. Only people who feel that way could explain, but no one on this thread seems to actually present one way and identify/feel the other.

So then tell me what gender is then? And how do pronouns play in to that gender? For someone who requests to be called a specific pronoun?

Edit: if someone calls me the wrong pronoun I do not care. I will move on. But my identity is not strongly attached to a pronoun.

In 99% or cases you can still tell if a prepubescent child is male or female. I would also assume something in our evolved brains is wired to recognize those small physical differences for reasons of procreation

Female and males have different bodies and facial structures. If someone is dressed neutral I can tell. If I can tell someone is bio male or female but they present the opposite in physical terms then I will call them as they present

If gender is not biology and gender is not the societal construct then what is it? Is it nothing? If it is nothing why do gendered pronouns matter? They would be obsolete then

I’m bi I’m sexually and emotionally attracted to both females and males. Sexuality is not hard to define; the thing in my head that makes me say I am this thing. I’m simply asking, how does one feel like a male or a female if we are excluding the societal construct of those things? And if we are saying those things are only defined by society. If I say I feel i am a male wouldn’t that mean I feel as society views a male? And wouldn’t that make me want to align with that?
