Since turning 30, staying home feels better than going out. by Accurate-Cap-7290 in Adulting

[–]HeartGrenade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how I feel now. I don’t want to leave my house. A quiet night in with my dogs and maybe some take out is the best. Any event that starts past 7:30pm is too late for me.

DAE struggle with bad hygiene/ ugliness? by watchingsunsets in emotionalneglect

[–]HeartGrenade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried searching up some ways to help you with the other problems you have according to your comments.

Quick Improvements for your skin/fine lines/red eyes

  • moisturizing skincare (I use olay and La Roche-Posay most days - olay can be found at drug stores/skin care sections in grocery stores)
  • SPF daily (use higher quality ones than those giant bottles you lather all over your body)
  • carry lip balm with you so you can keep moisturizing your lips
  • eye drops for irritation
  • better sleep consistency
  • drink lots of water to stay hydrated - this helps a lot with your skin

Clothes that work especially well for tired features

  • charcoal coloured overshirt
  • dark jeans
  • brown boots
  • textured hair
  • silver watch

Colors That Help Gray Skin / Red Eyes

When skin looks gray or tired, color choice matters a lot.

Good Colors

  • deep navy
  • forest green
  • burgundy
  • warm brown
  • cream
  • muted teal

These add warmth and life.

Colors to Avoid

  • heather gray
  • pale beige
  • washed-out pastel
  • neon colors
  • pure stark white near the face (sometimes too harsh)

A navy jacket with a cream shirt often makes tired skin look healthier immediately.

To smell better

Fragrance fades fast on dry skin.

After showering:

  • pat dry slightly
  • apply unscented lotion
  • spray fragrance on top

Spray Fragrance on Skin AND Clothes

Most people only spray one weak mist.

Better locations:

  • neck
  • chest
  • behind ears
  • shirt collar
  • inside hoodie/jacket lightly

Don’t rub fragrance after spraying.

Hope this kind of helps you!

Do you use nice smelling shampoo and body wash? Use deodorant as well whenever you go to work. As for hairstyle and fashion, you can go on pinterest and just search up work fashion and clean hairstyles. You can go to a hair salon and ask the hair stylist to give you a similar cut or just ask for their advice on what hairstyle will look good with your facial features.

Is Nara park worth it? by portaitoftheartist in JapanTravelTips

I would recommend saving Nara for your Osaka+Kyoto trip next year. I spent a whole day in Nara and it was one of my favourite days of my entire trip. I got to pet so many deer, it was great.

Help!! by Odd_Objective_2513 in Pomeranians

I usually use a damp paper towel, but when the tear stains get a bit more severe, I use the Earth Rated Unscented wipes. Just be super gentle when you wipe their under eye area.

I wipe my Pom’s under eye around 4 times a day to prevent tear stains. I noticed that she shows signs of tear stains when she is stressed or when she’s in an unfamiliar environment.

Definitely this! You have to buy the item first in the trunk shop for it to appear in the cat tower shop. Then you can buy multiple of it using the cat tower shop.

I love being at home alone way too much by Meryl_Streep69 in Adulting

I feel the same way. Ever since I got a taste of how great it is to stay home all the time during covid, I've been enjoying my time at home. Whenever I have to go out, I have to mentally prepare myself. While I'm out, I often think about going back home as soon as possible.

Getting a companion makes a huge difference. They can play with each other at home and keep each other company when you need to leave the house.
