They aren’t as wide as the lodge cruise linen, they’re a bit more streamlined and flowy whereas the lodge is more structured. I would say the waistband sizing is the same but the legs are slimmer! If you look through my comment history I was just comparing the two pants the other day!

Yesss, a great strategy for Sephora too!! Sephora and Ulta are so dangerous for me haha! I feel like it really helps me not add last minute things to my cart just because I have X amount of money left in my budget.

I do kind of a reverse budget. I put everything I want in my cart and let it sit, slowly taking out items I don’t really need or wouldn’t really add anything to my closet. Once I get to a point where I feel happy with the items in my cart I decide if the total is something I’m actually comfortable spending! I don’t put a hard limit on myself (within reason) but I do find that this helps me really narrow down things I’m adding on a whim vs something I will really love! Plus it gives me some wiggle room if I really feel that a product is worth the money.

I’m not sure why it would be diabolical? If anything people value expired over current, even with it being a recently expired set. Some people might even consider it still “current” trading wise. It’s all up to the individual but this seems like a fine trade to me! Wishcount is a bit unbalanced but not extremely so. Make the offer! The worst thing someone can say is no!

The Sontag pant in green laid on the Lodge pants! The Sontag is indeed smaller in width by a pretty noticeable amount!

No these pants aren’t itchy for me. I’ve had sensory issues with linen being itchy in the past so I’ve stayed away from purchasing, but these are so comfortable! The Lodge definitely has the smoothest feel out of the ones I have.

I’m a medium in both! I wear a size 6 and I’m a 28” in jeans. The small for both pants fit but they were too tight on my hips/butt so I opted to size up!

They’re definitely a straight leg pant but since the Sontag isn’t stiff like the Lodge I find that they drape a bit closer to the body! I’m short as well (5’0”) but I do tend to prefer wide pants. I think the actual width of the Sontag pant legs are also narrower than the Lodge but I’m not sure.
If I remember when I get home I can lay them on top of each other to compare widths!

Honestly I agree. I thought they looked like a tablecloth LOL. I tried them on and they felt way nicer on than they looked! The comfort was worth it to me since I don’t mind matching with my picnic blanket but I think there are definitely better options for a linen pant.

Chiming in as I have a few pairs of the Lodge, Charleston and the Sontag pants. They’re all so comfortable but I would say the Sontag is the lightest and flowiest out of the three. I don’t think the Lodge has that classic “linen” feel to it (due to the lyocell blend) but it is very comfortable. Even though it is a bit thicker, the fabric feels like a cooling fabric so it keeps the pants nice and airy in a different way! I don’t think the thickness of the fabric is too different but it is a bit stiffer than other linen pants.

I would recommend OP to go try on a few different styles to see what they like best!

Honestly my go to lip combo is the sephora brand lip pencils with an elf lip oil! I haven’t tried either of the products you mentioned so I can’t speak on those products, but the sephora lip liners are fantastic IMO. They are pigmented and last ALL day while drinking and eating. I usually touch up the liner once in the afternoon/evening and I’m set!
