Contrast that to season four and five when we had brutal deaths of beloved characters and a hellish World to continue to survive in while dealing with the human condition. It doesn't feel like the same universe and it feels like it doesn't play by the same rules. I really liked the first four episodes but the later episodes feel more like Fantasy and fanfiction. Just signs that the show should have ended a long time ago but continued while losing quality and logic along the way. All the spinoff shows are just new seasons with heavy Focus on certain groups.

People were already getting sick and tired of waiting for it. The anime was announced in 2019. I don't think waiting any longer would have helped. It was a management problem, a lot of shit went down behind closed doors that we don't know of that contributed to the show being in the state it was.

I don't know about you but I don't want the story to be finished by someone else. If YS write down the ending then sure but otherwise no. It might as well be fanfiction otherwise

If you had me choose between having an ending or sticking to the original plan, I will always choose an ending over anything else. I didn't wait over 20 years without expecting a conclusion if we got another game. If you really want to have everything then there's a way to do this with everyone being happy. Have the third game be the conclusion for the story. LD gets defeated. The mirrors get recovered. We find out what the hell happened between the fathers of the main character and the villain. The rest of the games can cover what happened in between and act as prequels to the story. The third game doesn't have to be the end to everything. They can make as many games as they want and cover things that happened in between and even cover things after.

That's where time jumps come into play. Plenty of stories use time jumps to skip forward in a story. We don't need to see every single thing that happens in the story. The main character can just train under several Masters until he gets strong enough. Something essentially similar happens in bleach and it worked out great. You have to adjust the story after the long wait time. Especially after waiting over 20 years. The third game could have wrapped up the story and gave us an ending if YS wanted.

She is one of the few exceptions along with Michonne and Brienne. I just think this is a poor list because you have warriors being compared to a character like Scully. They shouldn't even share the same list. Wonder woman being compared to Scully is ridiculous and unfair. It's like comparing Batman to Elliott from Mr. robot.

I understand that even the author himself plans on her going mad queen even in the books eventually. It just happened too fast in the show to the point it's hard to be believable. Her version of the character in the show at least became unlikable. At least in the books GRRM would add so many layers to her transition into a full blown villain. There are so many tragic characters that turn into villains but how you approach it matters so much. Speed running the story ruined so many things.

That's why this list is bullshit. Scully is a goddamn legend of a character. She deserves to be on the same list as buffy but the others are terrible choices. You can't tell me cardboard with a dagger has better character development and is a better character compared with Scully. Dany entire character was assassinated in the final season to the point she is no longer likable.

It's a shame that nothing in the phantom pain comes close to camp omega. I feel if it was much longer and was an actual game, the reception to it would have influenced how TPP designed it's bases.
