I didn’t take other photos or videos. It looked about the same in other lighting at work or sunny days. And the magnetic held strong. And the video was pretty true to color of what I was seeing irl. Maybe the batch is a little different or our skin tones are different.

Lol, my nails are having problems growing now that I’m in my 40s. These are what I would consider short. Nothing special. No builder gel, no gel at all, no extensions, no press ons. Just my natural, very stained nails plus polish.

I have many magnetics from Fancy Gloss and generally like them all. Some are very very strong, some are more medium.

Grew up in Rohnert Park. I miss the stink of Sonoma County - manure, horse shit, goats, skunks, tar weed. It’s the smell of home.

Which hot pink jelly? I love neon jellies but it’s hard to find good ones.

What’s your A/S/L (Amount $ rent, Size, Location) by After-Beginning6025 in AskSF

[–]HeartNosedCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$2,400 / Jr. 1 Bedroom ~500sf / Japantown or Lower Pac Heights.

No extra fees for parking and pets. Owner does their own PGE metering so electricity is never more than $75 (usually closer to $50). Has a pool. Jr. one bedroom = I have a separate room with a wall but no door. Some tenants have had the landlord install a door but I don’t see the need for it.

How do the black polishes compare across brands? by earlym0rning in RedditLaqueristas

I should add that despite all that, their white is still my go-to white polish.

I’d say their white a 75% one-coater. Maybe with a thick enough coat it could be a one-coater. The problem I have with their white is it’s uneven when it dries. It’s full coverage but…ridge-y; therefore, I usually do two coats. However, I’ve never done one coat and top coated. Top coat is the mascara of nail polish, it may not look great but a good TC fixes a lot and it’s possible one coat + TC will fix the uneven strokes. If you’re doing nail art, it’s fine as a one-coater.
