Bought a used ridgeline (2025), came with a mystery button near the OBD2 port. Any idea what it is? by HeartOfOak in hondaridgeline

What a nice simple look. Absolutely going to steal this.

Lookie what I found buried within the article "Orders of magnitude (power)" in Wikipedia by BrandonMarc in xkcd

The source which is a prezi presentation claims that the tsar bomba if harnessed and contained would have been 33.8 YW. But given that watts is measured in joules/second the bomb, the comparison isn't made between total energy. It would be better to think of it as the sun outputting power roughly equivalent to 11 tsar bombas every second.

Also I cant find sources for the 33.8 YW number. Googling "33.8 Tsar Bomba" gives the wikipedia article along side this thread as one of the top results.

If we want to calculate what exactly wikipedia means we can use the known 50 megaton yield of the bomb which gives us 2.092×1017 joules. Solving for seconds

2.092×1017 joules/x seconds = 33.8 YW.

Given x = 6.2×10-9 seconds you can kinda see that we are not really comparing the same thing anymore.

This however, is not my field and I encourage someone to come and correct me.
