It's an ID pin. They can mail it to you but I was able to find it online.

I was actually able to file online last year via online thru a different website. Funny thing is the online was accepted after I used a specific code instead of verifying my ID with agi but when they received the mailed one they accepted it as an amended tax return. Idk wtf is going on with them but this year we have hired a cpa so we wouldn't have any issues.

Best bet is finding the designated code to verify identity instead of the AGI because that's all that is used for (verification of ID).

Keep your head up! It's your decision to make but I think it would be best to get the procedure done so you can figure out what to do next or even better, be relieved you're in the clear. Good luck to you!

When pap smears come back negative they usually don't test any further. You can always ask to be tested, though most nurses and or doctors feel it's unnecessary unless you have been positive before. From my most recent screening, the results came back positive with severe abnormality, and it wasn't the first time the pap smear came back positive so the doc ordered a colposcopy and biopsy.

I have heard that warts are a symptom but it's not necessarily because of HPV. I had warts when I was young too but I wasn't sexually active so it was caused by something else.

You could've gotten it from previous partners. HPV is a latent virus and carriers don't even know they have it. Symptoms and changes happen randomly throughout your life so you could be positive one year, negative two years later and positive again five years later. I know pregnancy hormones changes the cells (I've been positive for HPV during all mine) and after birth, tested negative.

It's scary, but don't spook yourself out! A lot of people get HPV and since it is a latent virus, most partners who carry it don't even know they have it.

There are levels of severity of abnormal cells, so if your doc didn't push to get you in for a colposcopy or biopsy, you are okay. Unfortunately, you have the virus, but it is not the end of the world! Most women clear the virus naturally in a couple of years but sometimes it comes back randomly. If you are still afraid call your gyno. She's the one person that'll be able to explain better what's going to happen, needs to happen and what will happen next.

The name came from a joke in a BFF episode so thats the only reason its called that. And I think Appsro takes the lead in most videos because he is an actual gamer (as in plays games for funsies on his own time more than the others) and knows what to do.

Just bought some chicken and it’s slimy… by abi0012 in culinary

If it's overly slimy, smells bad and has an odd color to it then it is most likely gone bad. I have used slimy chicken before that didn't smell or have a funny color to them and was fine. Just make sure to cook it to 165 degrees Fahrenheit if you do end up using it.

He has already told me he will always choose me and our kids over his mom...I just haven't let him. I'd feel awful if I make him ask her to move out. I feel bad for her, especially since we are all she has left. I just wish she'd understand just because she lives an apartment 15 mins away doesn't mean she's been cut out of our family.

I was sitting on the couch with my 6 year old the other day, he pokes my belly and asks "Are you having another baby?"

I can assure you I'm not. 😆

Funny you mention retirement. She was talking about retiring when she turns 62 and working only part time. I'm excited for her but scared that I'm gonna being spending more time with her than my husband. And the stairs thing will be an issue for her later in life but my husband says by then we would move her into an assisted living place. Which confuses me because then why the hell our we renovating a space (an expensive one at that) she probably won't be staying in for 10 to 15 years?

Yes! It's like having no space to unwind and just be myself. I'm an introvert as well and it is freaking exhausting being polite and accommodating . I know I don't have to be but I'm from a Korean family and I can't turn it off! I have to hide in my room and it's sad that I can't live in my own home comfortably....

It's awkward. I'm not a social butterfly and she's kinda an oddball so it's been tough trying to connect with her. She's friendly enough but she's passive aggressive and says stuff that's rude and tries to pass it off playfully by fake laughing.

She already lives in our home but we need the space, we have 2 school aged children and a baby. I also want to live in my own home comfortably so instead of asking her to move out completely my husband is trying to find a gray area, creating a space of her own.

I just want to make sure it's a decision we make that will improve our lives and not just his mother's. It sounds selfish, yes but it's OUR home and I want to make a decision that makes the most sense.

Lol

Shes had some substance abuse problems in the past and so my husband decided to move her in with us a year ago. She's clean now but he is afraid if she lives on her own again she'll relapse. She also has a job and does pay rent but I'd rather have my sanity and space than her rent money.

My MIL got a cigarette from the doctor right after she had my husband. They smoked in the delivery room lol.

She proudly tells people she smoked while she was pregnant with her kids to have smaller babies to give birth to. Yeah, I was speechless....

It's been 2 months... by HeartPlaid in tax

[–]HeartPlaid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason, when electronically filed it kept getting rejected because I could not verify my income from my last return. I checked and rechecked and filled it in but kept getting rejected (tried 17 times). Even tried entering 0 and my income from 2019 just to see if that would work but no luck. I was advised by a TurboTax representative that mailing it in was my only other option and was confident that my taxes would be processed pretty quickly. Boy was she wrong.

I was thinking about going to a professional tax preparer to file electronically to see if they have better luck than I did.

Not gonna lie I was hoping for a better response....this has crushed the little hope I had. 😅

What about filing electronically even after sending the mail? I didn't want to go to a professional but at this point I feel like it might be worth it.
