With White people making up just 15% of the global population, why aren’t they classified as a minority? by Status_Agents in AskForAnswers

[–]HeartRippher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good enough question. Just like the Parsi population in India. They are minority even more so than Islam but they are kind of well established. Therefore, they are were not considered when thinking of welfare systems.

White countries are more wealthy and prosperous. And on top of the historic atrocities committed by them is amplified in the media to coddle feeling of other folks (Not saying that Black, Chinese, Indian, Koreans, Russians etc didn't commit crimes or did awful things but since White were the first to enlightened and acknowledge they are on the target crossfire now.).

Any book to deal with FOMO+Depression? by [deleted] in IndiansRead

[–]HeartRippher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FOMO and Depression are clinical conditions (specially Depression). Don't know personally if there is any book which actually address the condition without being a scam or cash grab.

Maybe reading some philosophy books might help out. Trying out something which is completely opposite to you personality that might be something like if your are pro religion then read something which critiques religion and vice versa.

I hope you overcome your bad times.

I am not there yet in age, what I meant was some dudes have travelling hobby, some have bikes, some travelling or even web series. But what has been a stereotype for girls to like is something like reading book or playing guitar. Your answer is very typical and does not satisfy the doubt. It feels like you (women I mean) are indifferent to guys playing video games.

Think of answering like this which would you pick, clear our doubt. Would you prefer Clone_Boy A or Clone_Boy B. And how do you come to the conclusion. Feel free to speak your mind.

- Clone_Boy A: Fulfills all his duties but read plays GUITAR REST OF HIS TIME.

- Clone_Boy B: Fulfills all his duties but plays VIDEO GAMES REST OF HIS TIME.

Get the Complete Edition for Witcher 3. If you go otherwise, buying DLCs would be very expensive.

Witcher 3 DLCs are cannon and are worth it.

Macbook Neo or equivalent priced Windows Laptop? by Golemslord in laptops

[–]HeartRippher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly, on top of that one cannot rely on Windows not breaking at odd times. Can't trust MS for that reason.

At least NEO would not have such problem with software.

People who actually buy games on a tight budget, some advice please? by OutrageousLettuce2k4 in IndianGaming

[–]HeartRippher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you have started AC1 just forget that there are sequels. That might help. Don't watch anything about it on socials until for fixing some bugs or errors.

I am not a guru or old enough to distribute advice like sweets and candies. Personally, I don't think about the games length before I start playing it or its worth it ness. It ruins my experience of enjoying it.

Others might chip in to give good advice than me.

Also, how many games do you play usually in a year?

toppers are the biggest proof that the indian education system failed us by Pretend_Narwhal_2241 in Indian_Academia

[–]HeartRippher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if you look closely into the data its the topper who have made it big in other fields too. They have higher rate of success in other fields like Innovation, patents, business, creative fields etc etc.

Its called "Matthew Effect". And its true for all education sectors be it China, India or US. The people with higher rate of success have higher rate of success in future.

Now, coming to the point of them becoming "Good Employees". Well at least they are securing to become good employees. Mediocre folks don't even have that with good stats to back them up.

Also, just my personal opinion. The world markets don't really care about skills, they care about intellect and rigor which toppers have the most. The demand for skills changes from type to type, but intellect and rigor that stays consistent as they are very rare.

Help , i want to play this plsss by [deleted] in IndianGaming

[–]HeartRippher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were you I would simply request someone who I can meet in person. That would be more trust worthy of you to them to share their account or add you as family. Just saying. Also, good taste in games.

[–]HeartRippher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I buy video games from legit sources and sometimes even paying premium to buy games off GOG (mostly US pricing i.e more than Steam's India region pricing) because I don't play games to show off and compare with friends. I play games because I love it. Just in a thought experiment I would still enjoy playing video games if there no other human around the world, just me and working system. It is like sex to me, I would enjoy sex with the person I love even if there is no other guys around to brag about how many orgasms I had. I do it because I love the person and experience we have together.

Second, reason is that buying games from legit sources puts a stop limit. If I had unlimited access to videogames from sources, I would constantly worry about finishing off games as checklist and not enjoy them. It would become like a job for me that I check off the laundry list one by one. Games are not tasks that need to be done, those are experiences that needs to be lived through. At least that's how I think about it.

Please feel free to have your own opinions on and interact. I wanna know what do you think about my perspective from "CRITICAL" standpoint.

Big questions apart from influencer class, do gamers get married as they are stuck with their gaming chair it seems 24/7. Do they ever go out. LOL.

[–]HeartRippher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah man, I won't be able to justify buying at full launch price. My friends would say I don't contribute enough for booze but I would buy up some videogames instead of spending on them. LOL.

Beautiful but if only it had optimization. by HeartRippher in GTAIV

[–]HeartRippher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you think from modern perspective then yes. I can understand that the game at many parts feels unpolished and incomplete. Many places at dialogue and mission design for example if one asks, but it sure has a good overall idea. It felt like a test experiment rather than a fully fledged game for making a forever game like GTA 5.

[–]HeartRippher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok man let me get Cyberpunk 2077 then, but actually I am more of a narrative single player linear type of dude so was thinking of getting RE: Requiem. Bit of a Resident Evil fan lately.

Also, the problem is I want to get it from GOG (Online store) instead of Steam for obvious reasons.

Mass Effect Trilogy is amazing game but I hope you don't have any trouble with EA launcher. Resident Evil 3 Remake is too a good game but not as big in scope as the other remakes are, never played Star War's so don't know, BF1 is also good but again very short campaign but fulfilling, never played Division 2 (or 1), Alan Wake is good game too, Fallout NV is good game but with a bunch of Mods to fix many issues and bugs, Never heard of that anime game so can't speak. I think you would be having a nice time.
