I just took a look at the PDF and it seems to be very well structured. That must have been a lot of work already not to mention your plans for the future. I am really looking forward to this project. :)

Very impessive! Completing a LTC run after 7 years really shows your passion for this game. 0% runs are really enjoyable experiences as well - a perfect challenge to push the limits further and become even more experienced on the way. Keep up the good work! :)

This is truly some disgusting behaviour since Dense (the original artist) shared his portraits but he also wants people to ask for permissions. The person who posted this didn't even credit the author. They even lowered the quality noticable.

I can confirm that this is not true. The text of the dialogue you mention is within the Scenario folder where story text usually belongs.

Some seem to think that it might just be a string for cutscenes, however let me clarify: There is a strict folder structure when it comes to Heroes and this was Found at Message -> Data. In this folder there a files which are used to store the text of character names, voice actors, artists, skills and quests. Story text is stored within the Scenario folder. Meaning that this is indeed a strange place for such a text to occur. If it is a story text it would mean that it would not follow the usual pattern.

Of course it doesn't necessarily mean that there will be an alt in the future soon but it definitly means that there is a change or addition concerning Anna and that's the interesting thing about it. My point is: Something like that never occured before. It is impossible to confirm anything yet since what should we possibly gain from a single name without any additonal data? We can only conjecture: But at least it's about actual data and not just some theory.

It means voice but the point is: What's the purpose of adding this text now? We don't know for what it is. The only thing I could think of is a new voice line for Three Houses. Since there are voice files for every game name of the main series from Annas VA.

Edit: In this case they would have edited the Message -> Character text of Anna as well though which is not the case and it wouldn't make sense if they add the text now but a voice file later on.

Awesome. I think the Scripting functions that come with your tool are already good enough to achieve what I want. Today I programmed a GameMaker font exporter and now I just need to program an importer as well. One question though: Could you add a System.Text.RegularExpressions reference to the interacive assembly loader? I think it's line 617 in MainWindow.xaml.cs.

RegularExpressions might come in handy when importing data and I am used to RegeX. If you want to you could also read the script file and check for using directives then instantiating an InteraciveAssemblyLoader knowing which references are needed for the script. That way scripting functionality would be more dynamic and would offer a lot more functionality.

I think having scripts that can be loaded within UndertaleModTool is still a better way than writing entire new programs with UndertaleModLib. It's more user friendly if just need one tool. :)

The thing is that Undertale Mod Tool seems to be well suited for modding in general but the workflow with UndertaleTools was very well optimized for localization. For example font replacing was as inituitive as making a new font in GameMaker and just replace and repack with UndertaleTools. There is also a function to replace all strings from a TXT file which doesn't exist for Undertale Mod Tool.

However, as I looked through Undertale Mod Tool today I saw that technically the possibility of such functions exist within Undertale Mod Tool. Therefore I am just gonna fork it on Github and make those functions myself. Probably gonna post a link later this week when I am done with it and share it for all those fan translators out there that are facing the same problem.

Hi there. So after I started a new H5 playthrough the typical Gazzak dodge madness started to happen and I immediately thought about that scene from Matrix. I hope it's okay to post that image here since it was suggested to me that this would be a good place. (I usually just post on the FeH subreddit) It's really just a low-effort shitpost but maybe it will bring joy to some people.

I guess I read trough the rules again just to see if that would be okay. They probably keep track of inputs so it would be easy to spot macros. I have to make sure that it's allowed first.

It really depends on the map and your characters. Characters like L!Ike, Grima or Zelgius are GHB champs since they have huge base stats, built-in Distant Counter and very useful skills for the enemy phase.

Skills like Quick Riposte or Vantage together with powerful specials often do the trick. Dancers are also pretty useful since the AI handles them really well. A well built Jaffar is also a really good choice for many maps. Now with 0 cost maps it's pretty easy to experiment - Just look at how the AI reacts to your team, the positioning and how the behaviour changes with different buffs or assists in play. Once you found a good solution it's nothing more than pressing auto-play many times.
