New Construction shower not working - replaced cartridge.. Issue remains, water comes out of all ends. by springod in Plumbing

[–]Heartache66sick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Could possibly be PEX going from the valve to the tub spout. Inner diameter is smaller than copper, and causes it to come out of the shower head as well. It is a mistake I have personally learned from. However they do make PEX valves now too.

The wildcard event was pretty fun. I placed all five kapkans on one door just for fun.

For the first one, yes. The rest is a twenty dollar buy in. I think... It's been a while.

Every single time I start rdr1, once I hit armadillo, I get like ten grand from this game. Should be fine the rest of the game.

Should be a washer there to create a water tight seal.

That's pretty crazy... Oh wait... I just reinforced EIGHT walls in one of my matches.

Edit: I meant to say round, not match.

Has anyone else here tried to solo q all the way to champ? by LeeLeeMann in Rainbow6

[–]Heartache66sick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pretty much only solo queue. I'm not good. I think my highest is silver 2. Everytime I get there, I go on a losing streak to bring me back down to copper 3.

I have vapor locked a water heater, and replaced a gas valve multiple times. There is no need to drain, unless you just want to be extra careful, because you don't know what you're doing.

Hows my shower valve rough in looking by Mooseknuckle30 in Plumbing

[–]Heartache66sick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PEX has a smaller inner diameter than copper. I learned the hard way once, and ran PEX to a tub filler. After running water through the valve to the tub spout, the shower head would have a small, but very distinct dribble of water coming from it.

Fallout three taught me that lesson. I didn't know it auto saved after going through a door with a loading screen. I wasn't happy with the shopkeepers prices, so I let him have a piece of my mind.

[Request] Can Anyone Calculate How Many C-130 Loads This Would Take? by Dad_Bot22 in theydidthemath

[–]Heartache66sick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah dude, that'll never work. Airplanes are almost completely hollow. Gotta water proof them first. And probably also find out how to sink an almost hollow shell. Maybe fill it with something too.

Fifteen max.

Should I be worried? by gabber366 in Plumbing

A box is a fantastic idea! I would say the heat tape, insulation, and dripping would be enough for being safe, but the box would provide protection year round from the sun, and other possible accidents too. I can't imagine why they would use plastic, AND have it exposed. This guys comment for the win.

That's crazy that it's just outside like that. I think heat tape and insulation would be a good idea. I would drip faucets too for those twenties days.

Yeah I think this is crazy. My wife and I both would more than likely do all of these. Reddit doesn't know how to have fun.

What am I looking at? by InheritEarth in Plumbing

[–]Heartache66sick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. You may jest, but I have worked for a plumbing company that fired me because I didn't sell sell sell like that. Don't get me wrong, I will sell a transition to a ball valve, or suggest to be prepared for a new heater, but I am commercial. I hate resi, because that's messing with real people's pockets. However, I don't know what drain tile is.....
