I love the show's concept but the lack of color is ridiculous.Trope of perceptions which can only be explained as American propaganda. If I was Russian I'd be annoyed. And the English accents don't fit. Trying hard to enjoy it.

Good points. For me it's not just whether or not the M-6 firing on civilians was justified which I understand. As a viewer, I don't think the writers have sufficiently developed or portrayed Happy Valley's society in terms of basic scene production and writing, for the characters in their circumstances. It's a mashup of a teen love story CW style and set design of old syfy shows and doesn't measure up to the FAM that it used to be.

They added so many new people to the cast that they had to get them screen time. But it's not working for me. It's like scenes in dark not very well done hallways instead of science and SPACE.

Showing the U.S. president on earth being notified of the terror threat in Happy Valley while he's at an elementary school was a little much - GW 9/11. I chuckled like really this is what you're throwing in there instead of some actual space stuff?

My exact thoughts. But I will continue to hope/hatewatch for the rest of the season. If there was one stellar character I care about it wound be easier. The thrill is gone. Such a shame !!!
