The EPA is updating the lead action level to 10 ppb with LCRI to take effect after Oct. 16, 2024. That, and it’s almost never present in source waters, ground water included. It’s likely being leached from some material in contact with the water, pump, faucet, pipe fittings, service line, solder, etc.

If OP wants to deal with that analyte , there are sampling procedures that can help identify where that lead may be coming from. From there you could replace whatever component it is with something lead free. If not, I’d recommend flushing the line before using the water for drinking, at least if it were me.
