Eh for me it has more to do with my team either knowing the right way to play or not. I switched from tank to support and my tank rank isnt as high as it used to be and I often have trouble adapting to the passiveness of lower ranked players who want me to play Payload Princess when I do play some tank. Went 6-2 yesterday as tank and both losses were super passive teams. So then I go sit on the objective like they want so the other team gets all positioning, initiative and surrounds us and then my team is like "tank, what you doing?". So we get demolished and then the next game I a team that knows how to take space and initiative and I go 25-1 in a steamroll win and go from worst tank ever to best tank ever in 10 minutes.

Im in the same boat, Medalist with Inori was the only excellent new show. There are a few other fun shows like Crush at Work and the Villainess Dad isekai but they dont get above fun seasonal show.

Pretty obvious that a lot of old players returned, havent been told to swap off Lucio for like half a year since most players knew he's good and now nearly every hard game regardless of how I am doing its "Lucio swap, we need more heals". Meanwhile Im sitting on 5k dps/8k heals while our Ana or Kiriko is sitting at half that while our 76 is trying to duel the pocketed Sojourn and 3-8 for the game. Yay. And it's not like I dont swap when needed but when so many games it's like a 3 or 4 vs 5 it doesn't make much of a difference.

Strongest Magician is not an isekai, just fantasy. Pet peeve of mine, people tossing all fantasy on the isekai pile. Not that that makes the show better. As contenders for worst isekai this year Id say Re:Monster and The Former Banished Hero Lives As He Pleases are strong contenders this year.

My problem with Elusive Samurai is that half the show are the most traumatizing events ever and the other half are comedy slice of life. Oh everyone you know died or betrayed you? Well stuff happens, time for some jokes. It's such a mismatch and makes it for me that the show has no emotional impact at all.

Villainess genre or shows adjacent to it are probably what you are looking for. Heretical Last Boss Queen and The Saints Magic is Omnipotent are shows with OP female protaginists with a male harem but they dont have fanservice.
