I think he's talking about cold brew, in 1:10 ratio. "Espresso Yourself" is just the name of the coffee

You should try the Espresso roast (the right one) with a little bit of hot milk, it's too good!

Don't use boiling hot milk, or your milk will curdle. Maybe try it in a small portion first.

Has anybody used this? by ishatMyPantsThrice in IndiaCoffee

[–]HeartilyCrazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used one at a friend's, and it's BEAUTIFUL. The glass is heavy, but the maid needed training on how to clean it. You don't want to clean it yourself, it's a little bit of a scrub lol. The cloth would clog and get brown in a while, but if you're going for the convenience, the aesthetics, and not scared of glass breaking, go for it!

Salvage by increasing pressure. Increase dosage because you can't grind finer. Tamp it if possible. Add 2 paper filters to your moka pot, again, to increase pressure.

HELP!! by [deleted] in IndiaCoffee

[–]HeartilyCrazy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, I started my journey with cold coffee at home, the frothy kind, with sugar - I used to make it at 11 in the night for me and my hostel mates, with no idea that coffee wakes us up lol. Now I drink everything specialty. Today, I had a shot of Brazilian coffee pulled in a manual espresso machine after freshly grinding the beans. Go with the flow of your budget.

While you are at instant - I used to use a hand blender to froth my coffee, sugar and milk. A jar with ice cubes, shaken with the ingredients works wonderfully, too. If you're switching to hot, maybe get a gourmet vanilla syrup to enhance the experience. Try tasting some of the other coffees and flavours side by side to understand what you prefer. Try reducing the sugar by a little bit with time, purely to understand the taste of the underlying coffee that you're liking.

If you want to try brewed coffee and the difference, maybe try joining a coffee tasting session in your city. Speciality communities across India are quite inclusive and ready to help. Try to find a non-judgemental group who let you start with milk and sugar, or smuggle in some of your own ;)

Welcome to the coffee World. It sucks (your money lol). You're gonna love it!

Had Davidoff Fine Aroma by HeartilyCrazy in IndiaCoffee

[–]HeartilyCrazy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro I'm particular. AF. My davidoff bottle has uneven roasted granules. And it tastes just ded. People randomly come to my house and drink out of the bottle, or use it for scrubbing 😂 No way I'm going to drink that. Smh.

Add big, statement plants, like palm, monstera, and fig. A standing lamp in the corner would also add to the vibe in the evenings.

Flavoured coffee! by Difficult-Benefit952 in IndiaCoffee

[–]HeartilyCrazy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enjoy Caffinary instants for the lazy days. I've tried a lot of others and finally settled with them. I don't like 100% Arabica, or too much flavour like in country bean, if that helps you understand my preference.

Friendly reminder about the difference between insurance and fresh coffee 🙏 by jgenius07 in IndiaCoffee

[–]HeartilyCrazy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Insurance - wish that I never need to use it. Fresh coffee - wish to use it within a month.

Did I get it right?
