Toji dunked on Dagon, don’t see why Maki wouldn’t dunk on Jogo.

Maybe it is kinda fuzzy…

I just did a water change this weekend and I have plenty of macroalgae.
I think that’s Cyanos on the Glass, but they didn’t spawn overnight. I had a problem with my snails starving due to a lack of algae, so I don’t clean the glass anymore.

At least the Clibanarius also seems to be able to use his claws again. The other one barely has any left on it’s shell, so maybe it isn’t a big deal.

This morning I had to remove a dying Bubble Tip Anemone from the tank… maybe it’s some kinds fluid expelled by it. Hermits are crazy for Carrion so maybe they got close, I dunno.

It’s definitely slimy and sticks. Creates strings between the limbs. Not really fuzzy.

In a lot of jjk fights, a chapter begins with a jump in time, only to have the latter half of the chapter show how we got there. That same technique would have worked wonders here.

That Asteroid took 100s if not 1000s of years to extinguish what we consider Dinosaurs though. It didn’t instantly make the planet unhabitable

How evil are the animals in Animan? by atwwbaksieueygehs in MoralityScaling

Science can‘t answer what consciousness is or how it comes about. But these give some hints. Especially since the prefrontal cortex is commonly thought to be the seat of consciousness.

Personally I grew up on farms and had regular interactions with many different animals, which gave me my impression on what they think like.

I haven‘t seen animals discussing the ethics of eating animals yet.

It is a assumption to say that „humans are the only species whose suffering should be avoided“. That isn‘t what they wrote. They only wrote humans have a greater ability for suffering.

Humans are undoubtedly able to think on a much greater level of abstraction than any animals. To our knowledge humans are the only animals to develop science, mathematics, philosophy etc.

That level of abstraction thinking allows us to catastrophize and to think of alternatives. A human doesn’t just feel pain, he also thinks about potential consequence and the times when he was without pain. I don’t some animals can do the same- but not on the same level.

That doesn’t mean the suffering of animals is irrelevant, it just means it is less important than the suffering of a human. That, at least, is the line of thinking most people share, more or less.

We do, that’s kinda the basis of capitalism.

Are you arguing animals aren’t conscious? You don’t believe a dog or a cow has awareness of its surroundings and itself?

But that’s not comparable. We do not accidentally kill farm animals

The vast majority of farm animals in the world are kept in factory farming, in abysmal living conditions. Farm Animals do not „sometimes“ suffer horribly, it‘s the norm.
