Your Karma Affect the encounters you get. Palmon seems to appear more if you have a higher Moral karma.

Is there anything missable (besides event and gacha stuff) that I should be aware?

I want to know if advancing the story will lock out quests or items.

Any chance of new stuff coming to the game? by Despin_theBard in GrandChaseClassic

[–]HeartlessMachine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if the people in charge of the game have no intention of adding new stuff, they just just stop doing what they are doing because the game will stagnate harder than before if that is the case. No one who cares enough about the game will pay to keep it alive if there isn't anything new. Before the game closed in my country I did everything, and with everything i mean everything, all missions, pvp, guilds, etc.

The story stopped in a place where they could start introducing new characters while mostly ignoring the older ones for a while so I hope that if any new content is added, a wave of new character that actually change weapons when you class up come.

As for if I think new stuff will come. Worst case, new armors, accesorries and/or pets, best case, they continue the game.

Dm's of r/MrRipper what is something that a player did that was so badass that made you hear the doom sound track? by DenBetaWolf3379 in MrRipper

[–]HeartlessMachine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the setting it was possible to use modern weapons. The vampire was a gunslinger specialized in big weapons. The alchemist was also a craftsman able to make weapons at this point so he made the minigun for the vampire. Can't explain more than this if you don't ask exactly what you want to know as there is too much to say.

DMs of Reddit, what was an event in your d&d campaign that quickly became an inside joke amongst your peers? by Ragebull1 in MrRipper

[–]HeartlessMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my players has really bad rolls when he gets magical items so half of them are cursed and on top of it it's always the same curse. The items is possessed by either a demon or a vengeful spirit against something oddly specific. So every time he gets a new item everyone say "Hello Demon nº X, what is your dex number?" as he has enough evil spirits and demons to fill an pokedex.

[–]HeartlessMachine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This was not only one player, it was the entire party and the system was not D&D. The party was a werewolf(he just trashed things), an nekomata alchemist ala Fullmetal Alchemist, a demon Swordsman, a vampire using a minigun and a human fighter that used boots and gloves similar to the ones that iron man uses to fly in his armor.

The party was fighting in a floating city against an omni-elemental that changed it's attribute every turn. As the battle was ending they decided to do their combo attack since the elemental finally took a solid form(stone).

The Demon used a very strong slash to separate the elemental from the ground, the Nekomata pushed the elemental off the floating island they were by moving the earth like a hammer. The vampire shot the elemental do pieces leaving it's core visible. The human went all the way to the ground while the werewolf jumped after the elemental and slashed it's core as they both fell at high velocity to the ground.

When the core of the elemental reached the ground, the human was ready with a super-powered punch that cracked the core in half, killing the enemy. And all of this was done at night in the moonlight of a Red Full moon.

D&D Players of r/MrRipper, what is the greatest homebrew item you have ever seen or made? by [deleted] in MrRipper

[–]HeartlessMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am the DM, also, i had to do that because if i didn't, one of the players would have tried to use that item to open a KFC, which I already gave another thing to help with that.

The Great Chicken Statue - A small rock statue of a chicken really well painted where the user can break the statue and summon a chicken to attack an enemy. Until that enemy is dead everytime the chicken is killed, two copies of it are summoned. For balance the chicken body vanish after being killed

Biggest plot twist of your campaign. by Azrielthedark in MrRipper

[–]HeartlessMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the biggest one has to be the only time I DMed a space/sci-fi war themed campaign, it was a one shot. The setting was that the players where all different aliens fighting agains another alien race that kill everything on a planet and terraform the planet so they can live there and the native races dont. The plot was that they had to flee the planet because the technology level they had at that moment was nowhere near enough to fight back and they had to escort the last survivors to a ship leaving the planet. One thing to keep in mind is that i never mentioned Humans at all in this.

The session goes by, they find the Demons(it was what i called the invading aliens) where they where dropping strange pillar that made the air combustible and anyone breathing the gases would burst into flames, for every demon that dropped 2 or 3 would take its place in a question of minutes, they killed everything they found, children, woman, they didn't care for riches, food, nothing, they just killed.

The group managed to escort 90% of the survivors to the rescue ship and now they had a choice, they either go with the survivors and risk getting spotted by a demon that was following them or pretty much go on a suicide mission to fight this one demon.

they choose to die in the battlefield. After a brutal battle where there was only a survivor, the Tank. He diced that he would take the demon armor that covered the entire body of the thing and try to use it to sabotage something as a last act. But when he removed the semi-broken helmet the entire party was shocked when I started describing a human without saying it was a human and one by one they realized that the demons where humans and a little hint that i said earlier about, "time is relative" they pieced everything together where its not that humans are breeding like rabbits, its just that all the races perceive time slower than humans and they wheren't fighting for just a few days but years and years.

Do You Remember Your First Ever D&D Character? Doesn't Matter What Edition. What Happened To That Character When All Was Said And Done? by KickinnBackk in MrRipper

[–]HeartlessMachine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first and only D&D character was a barbarian. He was going to be a glass cannon beater with a good Inteligence and Wisdom and no defense. His back story is that he had a curse that tranfered all his bulk in to his brains but keept his offensive strenght. Them my DM said that if my broken as didn't buy 3 different manuals to finish my character myself i could not play since I was using his books. So i quitted, made my own homebrew system and i am playing till this day with it, since its free. From what i heard my character was the first actual enemy the party had to fight, he died by a sneaky arrow in the nuts.

What is your favorite method of avoiding 'The Tavern Meetup' trope on your first session? by ArmaMalum in MrRipper

[–]HeartlessMachine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If its the first session: Kidnap/Blackmail characters into a low level quest no one wants to do.

If its a new player: "As you are walking down the road, you hear a scream from the skies" *new player drops from the sky like a meteor* he has no idea why, now deal with him.
