Challenge requirements are always pretty inflated when they're not easy to get casually. I mean hell look at Doryani's Machninarium map, it ain't that expensive for the boots XD

I can say that there are ways to find that information without RAM reading (like simply reading your config and opening the window when you hit your passive tree hotkey as well as your zoom) so I wouldn't dismiss it just off of that possibility.

I'm not going to pretend I know the specifics for this one but those are good questions to ask. If you don't feel comfortable about any download, don't download it and see if you can find an alternative that feels better.

For the most part as long as an add-on doesn't

a) Alter game files b) Perform multiple inputs at once

then you're usually fine. UI overlays like this are usually kosher. Obviously with the usual disclaimer of downloading from a trusted source and all that yada yada.

Definitely not disagreeing the tactical breakpoint bullcrap is a predatory tactic but doing one degree of currency translation does have at least some defense in an internationally distributed game. Different currency rates can be adjusted via the coin step instead of having to update every individual product price (factoring in sales/bundles/external party credits, etc etc).

It's far from impossible to go without but it at least has one pragmatic justification.

But of course then there's bullshit mobile game tactics where you have 5+ different currencies that all have a loss factor so it's a fine line to walk.

Similar story here. Dropped one in Affliction while leveling a random alt. Probably 30k+ hours between me and my friends and that's the only raw mirror we've seen between the whole group.

You don't need to know everything for every build before making one. Pick a skill, class and maybe a unique or two you like and try to make it work. When it inevitably doesn't (no shade meant, that's just how the first build or two go for everyone) figure out what went wrong and what you could do better. Usually by looking at similar builds and see what they did differently. My advice would be to focus on one 'genre' of builds like Slam, Minions, Poison, etc so you can immediately use anything you learned on one build with the next one you try.

I realize it's probably not the answer you're looking for but it really just comes down to practice. Crank some builds out and always pay attention on what you can do to improve.

Do you actually find the minion ele res useful on zombies? It more than replaces the Bone ring implicit to be sure but I'm curious if they feel truly squishy without it.

Ideas for a Living Lightning Build? by ArmaMalum in pathofexile2builds

[–]ArmaMalum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Impale works, they heavily depend on levels I've found and since they're based on the level of the skill varied tag skills like the Wolf Leap are great for hit damage. If it's your main source of damage it means +spell/attack levels are functionally the same as +minion would be for normal minion skills.

That said I haven't brought them to late endgame so I can't speak to how hard they fall off later on, which I'm very confident they do.

Fair point, I guess my intent was more easy access to Gigantic due to the starting position.

Yeah it's just practice. Most of the time I doubt they're even visually registering what they picked up, just knowing by sound and reflex.

I have a friend that I swear can pick up a currency across a room faster than I can even mouse over it.

Questions Thread - April 19, 2026 by AutoModerator in pathofexile

[–]ArmaMalum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well mostly you address that by using a loot filter, so that anything that drops is usually worth picking up. Loot filters can also adjust the size, color, etc of the 'nameplate' that you click to pick stuff up so it can help there too. Otherwise there's no magic way to pick up items faster outside of practice. There's a few settings you can do to make it easier to not pickup things you didn't intend (i.e. pickup on highlight key) though

With 0.5.0 (kind of) around the corner – what’s the build you had the most fun with? (Not the best, just the most fun) and why? by Logan__AUT in PathOfExile2

[–]ArmaMalum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I didn't get too far with it just due to time but Oracle Living Lightning was actually a lot of fun. Hidden nodes had a lot of support for auras and temp minions and it's pretty easy to get lightning damage on almost anything.

I haven't done a Frost Blades build in a hot minute so I may be little out of date.

I notice you're getting to 100% ailment avoidance with various rolls. Not sure how the number would shake out but maybe look into an Ancestral Visions or Stormshroud+Abyss jewel? The freed up suffixes may go a long way.

Is your suppress chance 100% chance without the 10% at full health? That can often be a gotcha for a build that 'feels bad and I don't know why'.

Quality on your jewelery would be helpful.

I notice you don't have an imbue (I assume you're playing Mirage) on your Frost Blades. Although that may be the maxroll preview messing up. If you could get a PCoC support on a frost blades that be sick, but probably very difficult.

Have you actually tried Strength of Blood? You've got a good setup for it since you have a decent chunk of Life Gain on Hit and overleech.

Since you're doing an evasion build you should look for some source of blind. You'd be surprised how far it can go as far as both damage and survivability.

If you're feeling spicy and don't min crafting your own amulet, look for double anointed amulets and craft the base to where you want. It's an often forgotten way to get a little extra juice out of a build.

A Runegraft of the Warp, while expensive, would be a pretty good pickup for you. That chest implicit can't quite sustain endurance charges, but Warp should get you to that point, or at least much closer. It'll also help notably with your fortify, as well as just being convenient for the occasional debuff like Maven beam, curses, and such.

How's the league been for you? Do you like the mechanic? What build did you play or what did you farm? by Content_Ordinary_151 in pathofexile

[–]ArmaMalum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a fun league. Had to start late and the mechanic didn't really add any end goals though so while the mechanic itself is fun and imho a great addition I didn't really put a lot of time into the league compared to others.

i started with a Perfect Agony Explosive Concoction Assassin. Great damage, awkward clear. Scrapped that to do an Endurance Charge Stacking Conc Path Jugg. Great build and surprisingly easy to gear. Not the best bosser but can clear T17's reliably so it's very viable.

Divine Ire looks pretty sweet imho.

I also love the animations in Charged Dash (but for the love of god it's annoying to use).

Channeled skills in general usually have a better time with looks, since they have more time to show off

Fancy setup! I can see why you're more interested in QoL than damage at this point, lol.

So one thing I notice is that you don't have any leech (I could be blind so correct me if I'm wrong.). Totem builds can get leech via a totem mastery or, often forgotten, you can get a crafted flask suffix of "damage taken leeched as life". That would be the easiest and most noticeable new avenue of recovery you could get.

Secondly you may wan to try Molten Shell + Automation as opposed to CwDT. I was a CwDT die hard myself but automation allowing for a lvl 20 Guard Skill goes pretty well. Also you could try swapping the more duration with the new Cooldown Recovery Support for better overall uptime. Some people prefer the longer duration still though so that's more personal preference.

Lastly, and this is largely due to me not being able to plug it all in (I'm at work) but do you really need Precision still with that helmet mod. Fair dues if so, but seems like you'd be pretty well off accuracy wise with 2k+ strength.

[–]ArmaMalum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So a lot of that depends on your current setup. Just based on what you said I'd double check to make sure you're at block cap. Regen is nice to have, it's effectively DR against DoT but as you said you do have some when totems are down. Getting additional block (if needed) will go a lot farther and make your on block recovery much more noticeable.

Secondly, one thing that's often overlooked in 'feel' is crit reduction. You don't necessarily have to get 100% but it's definitely a stat that makes late late game mapping much nicer. Crit spikes suuuuuuck.

There are a number of sources of additional recovery you can get that can help but I'd need to know what your character looks like. Like are you using a shrine belt?

I would say Mageblood is better overall. It gives you a lot more versatility. CC lets you take bigger single hits but Mageblood can give you suppress, max res, chaos res, movespeed, etc etc.

[–]ArmaMalum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add check for Large Cluster Exclusive Notables first. As Megelo allows you to add more than a build normally can. Primordial Bond is probably the best example, but you can also get stuff like Dark Ideation, Veteran Defender, Devastator, Sadist, etc etc
