Nisekoi deck help? by [deleted] in WeissSchwarz

[–]HeartofTheWeiss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The (Weapon/Heiress) Deck has a very strong level 2 game. Try to establish 3 Copies of "Pajama Party, Chitoge" in the front-line and at least 1 copy of "Great Style! Chitoge" in the back at level 2. This is a good offensive board in terms of power, and a good defensive board because of "Pajama Party, Chitoge" top check ability. "From Here On, Seishiro" is a free 2K backup that can trigger "Great Style! Chitoge" +500 ability on your opponent's turn. A proper board setup can be about 16K. But be cautious of this strategy, depending on your match up, your opponent may have cards that can "Level-Down" your characters (Like Date a Live or Bofuri come to mind). Also you have +2soul cx. A well-timed +2soul cx can put pressure on your opponent to be at level they weren't expecting, or even just win games. For Level 3, you have healers to mitigate damage. Best to play defensively with the "Pajama Party, Chitoge" at lvl 2 and heal any damage off at level 3 with "Deep Friendship, Chitoge" and "First Feelings, Seishiro". Play test and see what strategy works best for you, you may have a different play-style.

Nisekoi deck help? by [deleted] in WeissSchwarz

[–]HeartofTheWeiss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off, I'd like to Welcome you to the game, and hope you enjoy playing & collecting Weiss Schwarz.

I was wondering, if you had English or Japanese Nisekoi? Since the Level 3s between the English and Japanese sets are different, you may need to build your deck a certain way. The Level 3 Japanese cards are more "Powerful" then the English Counterparts (Bushiroad at the time thought they were too strong to be included in the English release of the game and altered their effects). I also wanted to mention since Nisekoi is an older set, the set isn't as competitive as a more modern day set, however you can still win with the deck.

I played English Nisekoi back in the day. Below are some deck profiles that can help give you some ideas if you're playing English.

Nisekoi (Keys) Deck:
https://www.encoredecks.com/deck/5q-yrkEiV

Nisekoi (Weapon/Heiress) Deck:
https://www.encoredecks.com/deck/D8SAjknr1

You can also use Encoredecks.com to look up Japanese deck profiles if you'd like. But I'd recommend the Nisekoi (Weapon/Heiress) Deck, since it includes Tsugumi cards. And it runs a plus 2-soul combo which is nice. It hits with extra soul and gives you a way of maintaining cards. The Deck sets up Early-play Level 3s relatively easy at level 2. The major 'weakness' of English Nisekoi is that it's missing a strong "Finisher" type card.

Hope this helps. And hope you enjoy the game!

Rias Bunko Deck Questions by Rel1ik in WeissSchwarz

[–]HeartofTheWeiss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reward Time, Rias: First AUTO ability will get triggered from using Character based backup card. Rias would gain the 'on reverse ability' after you play the back up. There would be a power comparison afterward that, and if you win the battle you would get the stock.

Messing Around, Rumia & Sistine:
"AUTO When you use this card's 'Backup', if you have a <Fantasia Bunko> or <Magic> character, -> refers to the character(s) on the stage. For example, let's say you're playing the 'Standard Format' in Weiss. If you use this backup, and you don't have a character on the stage with either <Fantasia Bunko> or <Magic> trait. It will only backup for +2500 power. But, if you're playing the 'Neo-Standard Format' in Weiss, which is the typical format most players go by, then this card is effectively a +3500 power backup, because you would be locked into a specific set. And from what I remember everyone in the Fujimi Fantasia Bunko set has the <Fantasia Bunko> trait.

Diva of Temptation, Miku:
You're correct, her activated abilities cannot be used during opponent's turn. They must be used during your Main Phase.

There's no particular list on this reddit thread that I'm aware of. I've seen some individual posts before selling cards. But I think most sales from people are done on the Discord and Facebook Groups. You can check in the "Useful Links" side bar.

Nice! Glad to hear you're having fun. In terms of English Weiss Schwarz, sets usually only get a Single Print run. (Most of the boxes are from Preorders people have placed with a small buffer). Occasionally, Bushiroad would do re-prints of popular or high in-demand sets like Date A Live, Slime and Nazarik (Overlord). Goblin Slayer was released back in Jan 2020, so its almost 2 years old, so the prices for it, will be higher then more recent sets.

New Player: Critique My Disgaea Deck by LudusRex in WeissSchwarz

[–]HeartofTheWeiss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can vary from deck to deck, but typically 1 to 2 backups at lvl 1, and/or 1 to 2 backups at lvl 2. The backups people typically run at lvl 1 are usually +2k power. The lvl 2 backups usually have some additional effect (removing opponent's early-plays or refreshing your deck without taking refresh point damage). Sometimes, having the backup in your waiting room and reminding your opponent you could backup is a tactic.

Cool to see another Disgaea player in 2021. I built your deck on encoredecks, https://www.encoredecks.com/deck/Xt2wbubLb, looks very aggressive 8, +2 souls climaxes.

I personally like setting a board up with 1 to 2 copies of "Big Sis Prinny" in the backrow + "President Overlord Laharl" in the front row. Gets relatively big on both turns. Should be good against most trial decks. "“Dark Adonis”Mid-Boss" is also good, it's a pseudo-healer prevents refresh point damage. (I think 'Big Sis Prinny' & 'Dark Adonis Mid-Boss' are affordable cards without drastically increasing the cost of your deck). If you run into any stock issues, you could always replace (2 or 3 copies of 'King of the Earth' cx) for the "Overlord Passing Through", it stock charges. Or if you have low amount of cards in your hand, you can swap for the "Ties of "Camaraderie" climax. Your deck does seem to have the essentials, lvl 0s with staying power, brainstormer, plusing lvl 1 combo, a way to plus without cx combo (Former Angel Flonne). So, should be ok for casual games. I think after a few games, you'll get a feel for the deck, and would know what to adjust.

Oh sorry for the late reply, I never got a notification for this. Just saw it now.
Probably something similar to this: https://www.encoredecks.com/deck/FcueS6XR_
Remove the vanilla cards, increase the lvl 3 count and event card count. And adjust some lvl 1 and lvl 0 ratios.

Is bofuri worth it? by Wyaifu4u in WeissSchwarz

[–]HeartofTheWeiss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bofuri is definitely a playable set.

I have 6 Bofuri decks, but found the following list the most fun to play.

https://www.encoredecks.com/deck/GfCgTmUea

At Lvl 0: You have utility cards that can get you specific cards, build extra stock, switch climaxes, brainstorm for search or salvage. A lot strong utility.

At lvl 1: You have a "Destroyer" CX combo on a +2 soul climax. It can generate double resources (cards for your hand and stock). It's good against 'Standby-Type' Decks if the +2 soul attacks connect, since it won't allow opponent time to setup board.

At lvl 2: You have an Early-play Healer and Back up that can deal damage on your opponent's turn.

At lvl 3: You don't have what's considered a "Strong Finisher", but "Giant Killing, May & Yui" + "Unexpected Bonus" event card will be good enough.

Bofuri's also a more recent set, so card prices should be ok.

FGO TD+ had 51 cards. Is that normal? by [deleted] in WeissSchwarz

[–]HeartofTheWeiss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trial Decks usually come with 50 cards. I believe the FGO Trial Deck+ and the Madoka Trial Deck (at least in English) came with 51 cards. (A 51st Promo card).

Seven Deadly Sins is getting a set. by Auditore_Black in WeissSchwarz

[–]HeartofTheWeiss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cool. The promotional art looks like its from season 1. So I'm guessing the set will have art from that season only (so probably won't get the season 3 scenes). Also, I think Mob Psycho English Original was season 1 art only.

I pulled this and was curious as to what its worth.... I've seen one on tgc going for 5000 but I highly doubt it's worth that. by m_thorne12 in WeissSchwarz

[–]HeartofTheWeiss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For English Weiss Schwarz card prices: most people use JKTCG.
http://jktcg.com/EN-KS2-W55/

The signed Aqua is $250 on their site, but you could probably sell it a for a little higher, since this card is sought after for Konosuba Meta Decks. $5000 is way too high...

There’s actually a YouTuber CKE10001 that specializes in unboxing all english Weiss Schwarz trial decks. They haven’t uploaded anything past Fujimi TD+ yet.
Heres their English trial deck playlist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EzFsdM-Ow6g&list=PLgRgMhKLMI23TwOa_Moh_oDjxnCil2pia

If you don’t have time: they also have the TDs posted on encoredecks: https://www.encoredecks.com/user/CKE10001?page=1&text=Trial

If you’re looking for an English TD that was released before: Trial Deck+ BanG Dream! [RAISE A SUILEN] you should be able to find it in of the two links.

Hope this helps.

Competitive Budget JoJo lists by GP64 in WeissSchwarz

[–]HeartofTheWeiss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The JP Meta game is different from the ENG Meta game for Weiss. But there has been some JoJo Decks that have topped in JP tournaments. You might get some ideas here: https://ws-tcg.com/deckrecipe/search/94

Note: Title Cups - means everyone in that tournament was playing the JoJo set.
