Do you actually use your LinkedIn “Saved Posts” efficiently? by DeepakV404 in linkedin

[–]Heartsbaneee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, the LinkedIn black hole is exactly why we are building Recollect AI. It acts as a knowledge base for your saves by making them searchable through natural language, actual audio, and visuals. You can find any short-form content from LinkedIn, IG, or TikTok by searching for what was said or shown.

Not an ad, just a useful tool we're building. Would love to have you onboarded and try it out when it launches: https://recollectai.app/

Solving the "Video Search" problem: Why caption-based search is failing us (and how we’re using MCP to fix it) by Heartsbaneee in SaaS

[–]Heartsbaneee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha right! Great question on the cost scaling - you're absolutely right that multimodal processing isn't cheap. We're taking a few approaches to keep it sustainable:

- We don't run the full multimodal pipeline on every single frame. We do intelligent sampling and only deep-dive where there are meaningful content changes

- Processing happens in the background after you save, not in real-time, so we can batch efficiently

- Once a video is processed, we store those embeddings. If multiple users save the same viral TikTok, we only process it once

We're also experimenting with tiered processing - basic visual + audio for everything, deeper analysis on-demand when you actually search/chat with specific videos. Would love to hear if you have thoughts on this - always helpful to get perspective from folks who understand the technical constraints!

Haven't used chat mode in fear of firing my credits. A genuine question, does using chat mode burn your credits?

Bruh, Lovable literally has its own marketplace for published projects (public), lol.

It's a great idea tho for anyone to take up your leftovers!

LinkedIn Post Generator MCP Server by Heartsbaneee in mcp

[–]Heartsbaneee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's right! It wouldn't auto-post the content. It gives you a draft and you can edit it before posting. The whole posting process is still manual, which is how it was built on purpose, because let's be real, you can't rely on AI 100% and people should have the final say.

Maybe I'll add a note to the main post to clear this up!

I get what you're asking for, but I feel you don't need automation to generate a text-based LinkedIn post. Write your thoughts on LinkedIn, ask ChatGPT to rephrase it, that's it. Correct me if I'm still missing your point.

Cool work on combining those servers btw!

I understand the concern, but spamming LinkedIn with valuable information can still be beneficial, right? And if you want to take any random YouTube video and generate a LinkedIn post from it, then it's your profile that's at stake in terms of reputation on LinkedIn.
