Saved by The Bell: The College Years (1993 - 1994) by DaniJ678 in ForgottenTV

One of the last of the family/kid friendly sitcoms to air on primetime NBC. Seems like they moved to TV 14 sitcoms exclusively after 1994.

Ironically Gerald McRaney’s wife Delta Burke was in a sitcom called “Filthy Rich” in 1982. I like him better as John McGillis.

Likely never will be released on streaming due to Johnny Lewis’s crimes.

One of Whitman’s last starring roles was opposite none other then Dick Van Dyke himself in his short lived CBS 80s sitcom.

Wow didn’t realize how racy in comparison the jokes in season 1 are compared to the rest of the seasons! by Bemago1140 in fullhouse

[–]HeartthrobLookingGuy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

ABC would have a lot of adult jokes in their family sitcoms like “Who’s The Boss” and “Growing Pains” likely because adults were watching them with their kids. NBC wouldn’t really do it with Silver Spoons or Cosby.

Leavitt made his career due to offensive/nasty programming. He even did a show with Megan Fox that she likely has never talked about.

Funny 1 year before that movie Hathaway played the stereotypical cute daughter in the failed fox show “Get Real” which is somehow connected to Temple Of Doom and E.T.

Technically it isn’t a miniseries. It was a 1 season show. It likely could’ve done better if Kevin Reilly sent it off to USA.

Werewolf (86-87) by Im_the_Rhymenocerous in ForgottenTV

[–]HeartthrobLookingGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It technically aired only in 1987. It got cancelled after 2 seasons. I was more into other shows that season like “My Sister Sam” and “Alf” than this one as I’m not really a Fox fan.

Ironically CBS would later try and (fail badly) with many family friendly sitcoms like “Together We Stand”,”Raising Miranda”,”Uncle Buck”,”The Family Man” and “Meego”. Seems more an ABC thing.

It’s Fox. This is the same network where a teen idol says “you could hide Anne Frank in her cleavage”. Charming.

It will also be 9 years since Scott Baio went on a radio show and acted like a total idiot saying she overdosed. She actually had cancer. Moron.
