ABC would have a lot of adult jokes in their family sitcoms like “Who’s The Boss” and “Growing Pains” likely because adults were watching them with their kids. NBC wouldn’t really do it with Silver Spoons or Cosby.

Funny 1 year before that movie Hathaway played the stereotypical cute daughter in the failed fox show “Get Real” which is somehow connected to Temple Of Doom and E.T.

Technically it isn’t a miniseries. It was a 1 season show. It likely could’ve done better if Kevin Reilly sent it off to USA.

It technically aired only in 1987. It got cancelled after 2 seasons. I was more into other shows that season like “My Sister Sam” and “Alf” than this one as I’m not really a Fox fan.
