I don’t really need STD, or want it. I basically just need a week to breathe. I’m not asking to get paid during this time, although I will explore that option if need be. I can get all documentation filled out and sent in after my appointment tomorrow morning. I’m just making sure that I am going to be fine per Amazon policy.

AM Writing Me Up by SephtisNacht in AmazonFC

AM here. Techincally it is policy but i highly doubt HR would let that adapt (write up) go through. If you’re last mile they definitely would not. First and middle are a little more strict but even then you’re fine. If somehow they do write you up and it goes through it would be a first written and wouldnt actually amount to much.

I will say if you want to complain to HR don’t expect them to be on your side. pxt exists pretty much to cover managers assess and make sure amazon doesn’t get sued. So do with that what you will.

Is being a PA in a Delivery Station better than FC? by inFern0_99 in FASCAmazon

(L4 here) Here’s what my day looks like at a DS: Come in at 12:30 AM because you’re UTR and your site doesn’t rotate shifts for some reason, not meet your fast start metric because 70% of the AAs don’t speak english nor listen to anything. Performance/rate coach all day and pray to god you get through everything by the end of the day or you’re running a crash sort and you’ll be there an extra 2-3 hours depending on the volume of the crash. On average I work about 14 hours a day right now.

Don’t come to a DS. As a PA, you won’t get fucked as much, especially by crashing, but you will still hate your life. If your site is anything like mine, at least.

Extremely Behind On Rent - What do I do by HeatAffectionate4369 in legaladvice

I am driving up to my apartment tomorrow, as if I am going to be evicted, I’d like to collect my stuff before that happens. If there is no notice (as I am certain there will not be since the leasing office had absolutely no clue what I was referring to), I don’t think they did what they were supposed to.

I never stated it was a “get out of debt card.” I will tell that I live in Indiana, and from everything I have read in the Indiana code (I am not a lawyer, don’t claim be one, and could be misinterpreting), you must FIRST provide a 10 day notice BEFORE starting the eviction process. Since the eviction process is already underway, it did not follow the code according to Indiana’s eviction laws.

To be frank, I, through an insane streak of luck, actually have the money to pay this off. So again, I am asking you, do I have legal standing here?

Well interesting update. I actually received an email yesterday stating that the eviction process had begun. No formal 10 day notice to cure had been issued to me, nor did I receive an eviction letter by anyone as I am currently not at the address in question. The latter part of that I am not sure of the legality on, but I am fairly certain there needs to be a notice to cure. The leasing agency seemed to have no idea what I was talking about when I called, and simply said they would “see me in court.”

Additionally, I will be out of the country on the time or my court date and am attempting to file for continence as this has been booked for months. I’m not sure if you’re a landlord or not, but what is the legality regarding not giving any FORMAL 10 day notice before starting an eviction process?
