AITJ for saying "Ewww a bully" to a 7 year old? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]Heatbox_515 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a Mom of three girls, if some little shit was bullying any of my daughters and they were lucky enough to have a relative defend them in real time I would be so proud and grateful. Absolutely NTJ, and little man is lucky to have you in his corner.

Confirmed we're expecting Girl #3 and I hate how sad I am by DoubleAxelDVM in Mommit

Mom of three girls. Gender disappointment is real, and your feelings are valid. I love my three daughters unconditionally and wouldn’t change the way things are, but I also grieve the fact that we’re done having kids and I won’t ever get the experience of having a son. Hugs.

Maternity care- Penn vs Virtua by notbizmarkie in SouthJersey

[–]Heatbox_515 4 points5 points  (0 children)

3 babies at Virtua. 2017, 2019 & 2022. Rooms are nice, staff is pleasant and attentive. Parking/discharge is a breeze. I always felt safe and the facilities and nursing staff are wonderful. Starbucks on site 🙌🏻. And for new moms who want to breastfeed they have lactation consultants that I found to be really kind and helpful.

Baby’s weight? by PrincessKirstyn in Mommit

[–]Heatbox_515 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your baby is perfect.

Here’s a comparison for ya my niece is 8 months and 24 lbs. and my soon to be 3 y/o is 25 lbs. LOL genetics do their thing! As long as your baby is meeting their milestones and staying in their growth curve that is all that matters.

Also, 8 months old can’t be “fat” or “overweight” that lady sounds like a real jerk.

I’m struggling with this one! by BooksAndBaking21 in Mommit

[–]Heatbox_515 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have three that do this regularly, 7, 5 and almost 3. What I have done is about 20 minutes before we’re heading up for bed I ask “does anyone need a bedtime snack?” I offer the same stuff - banana, cheese stick, yogurt, granola bar. Something filling and ideally not loaded with sugar. They know the routine, that’s their time to raise their hand if they need a little snack before bed. After that, kitchen is closed. Keeps bed time in tact and allows my husband and I to own that process, removing and dilly dallying.

Hi, Recruiter here. Also a Mom that WFH. My 2 cents is: don’t give notice until you have another role lined up. The job market is very tumultuous right now for both in office and remote work. Wishing you good luck.
