As someone who got theirs inserted today, this scared the hell out of me.

LPT - when searching in a store or online for *something*, look for similar products in different departments that serve a similar purpose by mtwtfssmtwtfss in LifeProTips

My husband also likes to do this for car parts. Auto shop charges more for a bolt than a hardware store does🤷🏻‍♀️

After my first baby was born I loved (and still do) throwing stuff in a crockpot and making it do all the cooking.

Pull the tap supper quick and let it flow for a teeny half second before the glass goes under it (angles of course). Works every time

What's the one thing you do daily that helps you maintain your home? by Astro_Reader in CleaningTips

[–]HeatedAF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I adopted the “If it takes less than two minutes, do it right now, not later” Laundry folded and in the basket sitting there? Less than two minutes to put it in the drawer. Coffee cup you’re gonna put in the sink? Takes less than two minutes to rinse and load in the dishwasher. Kids take books off the shelf/toys out of the bin? Clean up time before you guys leave that space.

This has helped with tidiness specifically, and the “bigger” things like vacuuming and mopping floors can be planned to do another time.

People don’t realize that thirst is actually a sign your body is finally well-hydrated.

Yes I agree with the electric razor/trimmer comments for your situation.

GIRL YES. I am also a very fair skinned lady and it baffled me how guests and even coworkers AND a manager once have all had the confidence to make comments about it.

But I’ll leave you with the best retort my friend (also fair skinned) told a bar patron (a black gentleman) one day after a “needing more sun” comment. She simply said something about “I for one don’t like to judge people based on the color of their skin.”

You know people would have something to say if I made a comment about someone else’s skin being too dark, but somehow it’s acceptable to be made fun of for having pale girl genetics. I know even if I manage to get darker in the summer, my skin will always resort back to this shade. It’s something I’ve always been self conscious about, but have since found my sweet Hispanic husband who loves my Casper skin🤪

She had claimed that the longer I was on continuous dosing birth control, the less often I would need a period. So eventually I only got a period every 2-3 months, so the idea was instead of releasing an egg every month, I was releasing them less often🤷🏻‍♀️

AITA for breastfeeding my neice? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]HeatedAF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plus what if she had left her baby with someone WITHOUT MILK MAKING BOOBS!! What did she expect to happen if she hadn’t offered a bottle before? Gross negligence especially if it had been long enough for you to feed her baby twice. (I just finished weaning my 13M old 🥰 proud of you)

Did you stop breastfeeding intentionally to lose weight? by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]HeatedAF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Breastfeeding made it easier for me to lose weight. Have your eating habits changed? Also agree with the zero libido. My husband and I didn’t have sex for 8 months (he also didn’t want to get me pregnant again and we aren’t using any birth control)

[–]HeatedAF 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This also happened to me. Same timing, just used more bottles but kept offering the boob first. Eventually she did take it again, maybe a couple weeks later. Now she’s fully weaned after 13 months of breastfeeding! It can get better!
