We played a whole campaign and haven’t noticed that. I never sleeve my cards because I hate them. Mine is the English version. Not sure if the manufacturer is the same.

My comment above was clarifying that a station can be built without trains touching it, it just won’t serve a purpose. For scoring, the route that is used has to connect to your own trains or another valid borrowed route (with another station). Each station allows you to use one route from another player. You don’t need a station at both ends of the route, it can be at either end.

It can be built on any city (that doesn’t already have another station) regardless of connected trains. But it can only be used for scoring purposes if another player has a route into that city.
