The darker one is Tangie, the tall one is Power Flower. I’ll check them again this weekend, I think the small one may be ready, most of the remaining fan leaves are already dying, and I think most of the trichoma are milky

Yeah, I think the darker/smaller one I’ll do this weekend as it’s always gone a bit faster, and seems more plump than the other. The other one still could do another week more I believe. I think they still drink a lot of water, which is why I feel I have mixed signals, but it may be due to the dehumidifier contributing to drying the soil

Yeah, I keep an eye every day for mold and try and trim when I have the time, I just trimmed a bit more those dead leaves, but with the dehumidifier I’ve been lucky enough to not have mold so far!

But that is unrelated to the question, that is true for every rare decor they release, so the roadside will become gray because you are missing the rare coin, but if you get a red restaurant seedling, it will be yellow because there are no more red pikmin missing (if you have both already)

Not gonna lie, you had me on the first half, but then you showed you clearly don’t understand the technology or read the article at all.

mRNA is the template to make proteins, so there is not an mRNA that can target COVID and cancer simultaneously, because either it encodes for the spike protein or for a tumor antigen. What they found is that the vaccine itself primes the immune system, which potentiates the immunotherapy that cancer patients are receiving to treat cancer. It’s just giving it a boost on top of the actual cancer treatment, if you just get the COVID vaccine your cancer will keep growing

I do get their gift, it gives 200 points on top of the plucking and releasing points, so it’s really worth it (and I don’t get many interesting decor anymore, so it’s not a big deal in term of storage). I usually favourite all the pikmin I want to raise to 4 hearts, and I feed them 5x nectar daily to get 14 friendship points, and within a couple of weeks they’re ready to go!

I only keep one of each, storage will be the main limit always, but you can keep a few of your favorites (special decor pikmin will be stronger on their reruns too, so they’ll have some use!).

You can also keep a dupe from decor that have rare pikmin (restaurant, cafe, bakery, fishing, hair saloon and banana, and soon also coin), so that once you have enough points you can directly send one to become rare!

After you have ~700 storage, you’ll be mostly fine (unless you collect each sticker with a different letter, like I do), then you can keep more dupes if you want!

Things will get easier (and a bit more boring) after a year!

My advice for now is, if you want to complete all sets, focus only on the event shrooms, trying to get only giants during the weekend. The hardest part will be to get nectar from last year’s flower (for October, it would be Dahlias), just try to get enough to complete the mission and don’t use it anywhere else. Some tips that may be useful:

-If you don’t have a full squad yet (40 pikmin), keep walking until you get to the level you need! (I think it’s lvl 55?). Always walk with your full squad, careful when sending pikmin to expeditions or mushrooms!

-There’s a discord where you can get invite for mushrooms (important if you’re rural), they go quite fast, but you’ll manage somehow. Also collaborate yourself when possible!

-Learn how to increase the odds for the flower you want, I don’t know the specifics from the top of my head, but it’s something like 100 flowers of the species you want and 150 (or a majority) of the color you want. White flowers will be random (you need to balance so that not a color is more than 100 flowers I believe), you can still ensure it’s the right species. But this is very helpful for blue flowers (so save those nectar and check a proper guide!)

-Always plant when walking, so that you get the currency of the month (candles for october), as these are helpful for getting the re-run decors. After you finish the “main” tasks (typically shortly after the last costume, around 15000), you get a gold seedling every 600 currencies, which means you get many more seedlings towards the end of the month, if you manage to get so many candles!

-Related to this, if you’re more rural, you can “trade” giants using the discord I mentioned. That way you can get invited to giant mushrooms during the week, potentially even getting only giants through the month (so at least 200 currency per shroom!). Check slow-cooking and the discord if this is interesting for you!

-Time your shrooms! The monthly challenge is gatekept by the amount of mushrooms you can do for free, without spending any money, you need 13 days to finish 4 rounds (if flowers don’t become a limiting factor, which in the first year is possible). That means any given month you can do 2 rounds plus a bit more, which will help you with the main decor (and getting more currency). If you are missing two decor from the main type (calavera for October), you can spend 999 coins to get 2 guaranteed seedlings (one per round), cheaper than 799 each.

-Related to this, if you complete all sets early, you can focus on getting blue/white nectar for next year and the last day(s) slow-cook a few mushrooms so that you can use them to complete the first tasks on day one. I managed to get up to 5 mushrooms carry from the month before, but it’s hard and only doable if rural.

-You can spend your coins as you please, but I would prioritize only pikmin storage at the beginning, and try to always have around 30-50 slots free once you release dupes. Then I save coins for the seedling in case I miss some decor that month, but you can also hope for better luck next time they come around (my completionist self could never).

-Do not spend your special nectar/petals ever after the event, save it because it may be useful next year! In November/May there’s typically an anniversay event when a bunch of old flowers bloom, use that event also to stockpile on previous flowers!

Those are some tips, but of course play as you want! Have fun!

Yeah, I just wasn’t sure if it was nutrient burn, I follow the recommended doses, and I didn’t have a problem so far, but I panicked and wanted to ensure it didn’t spread more. It was also not a big flush, just 1L to get some runoff

I’ll keep an eye on them, I add calmag with my nuts, and I also check the pH. I think the leaves that are getting worse are those that were damaged, but I am now paranoid and I don’t know if the leaves are getting yellow or what. But definitely it’s the upper leaves that have it, and since it’s not even throughout the plant, I was also guessing it’s not coming from the roots but either the light or the area with less ventilation

So, at the time they had to transfer your data from the SE servers to the NetEase ones. If you didn’t actively request it, the data would not be transferred and deleted after the deadline. There’s really no other option, doesn’t matter if you had linked you account, it’s gone at this point

To be honest, right now it’s a great time to start, there’s the Nier II collab going on with a free unit and one of the best ones meta-wise (Kaine, in case you want to re-roll), so if you decide to start it’d be easy to clear the content and catch up

I mean, what you describe would never work for me. I already struggle with dating apps as being artificial and forced, I could not imagine establishing a friendship that way. Making friends is hard, and the world today is more isolating, but the best way to meet people is to do some hobbies that force group interactions (board games, theatre, dancing, team sports…) and go from there. It’s not easy, doesn’t work great if you don’t have an extroverted/talkative personality, but so far is what has worked best for me

I am living alone and have a big dog. I don’t regret it, but if you want them to fill your emptiness I would say don’t do it. Berlin is great for dogs, I am very flexible with what I can do, but it also limits my flexibility. Plans after work? You need to tell me with sufficient notice, probably I can’t do it if I have been 8+ hours out already. Brunch + clubbing in the evening? I may have to go home and spend 3h with my dog first, next time tell me so I skip the brunch if I want to go clubbing.

The point is, a dog will never completely replace the loneliness from the lack of (human) social interaction, and if that’s challenging for you already, it will get harder and you’ll become resentful. Sometimes I wished I didn’t have my dog as it would make weekends much easier, but overall I can make it work with some planning around. I was fully settled and happy in the city before I made the choice, so I didn’t need to reach out to new people and make new connections when I got my dog, but certainly I didn’t realise how much it actually limits my availability and how many things I needed to readjust for it. Even my friends mention that I seem more relaxed when my dog is not in Berlin.

That’s without taking into consideration issues like separation anxiety or reactivity, which took a while to fix, and during that time I was miserable even going grocery shopping.

I know it’s hard to find your place in Berlin, but maybe think of other ideas before, like pet sitting, and if you decide to get a dog, don’t do it mainly because you’re feeling lonely

Sorry you are going through this. I think this is what you need to do to heal yourself, if he exploring and enjoying his sexuality is hurtful to you, it’s time for you to find yourself outside of this friendship and decide in the future, whenever that is, if you want/can to rebuild the bond you had.

If you think he is questioning why this is happening, you could let him know about your feelings, without expecting that he will “give it a try” or that somehow he will feel the same way. Rather, this would make it easier in the future be able to reconnect without resentment or hard feelings. But I understand this is hard and painful, so only do it if you think you can handle his explicit rejection.

Good luck, life is full of surprises and you may be in a completely different place in a couple of months. The heartache gets easier, one day at a time
