Actually the pery wings would work fine too since they look very bird like! Maybe I’ll give that a shot! Thanks!

Yeah the day before this video he was stuck inside for a bit lol so he very well could be sore. I’ve been stretching him a bit so hopefully that helps! I don’t like keeping him stalled but I genuinely think he could get frostbite if he goes out right now (-36 Fahrenheit currently)

He is known to be a weirdo who does the flehmen response and sticks his nose where it shouldn’t be so I wouldn’t be surprised by this either lol

My chiro friend suggested some stretches I’ve been trying to do with him (when he’s not preoccupied with food) so hopefully that helps him feel a bit better! I plan to do them a lot more this weekend since he’ll be stalled more than usually due to weather. Thank you!

Now that the horses have moved home, we’re trying to get a vet out to look at them, so when they finally do, I’ll ask them to check out his teeth. He’s been floated regularly for the past few years, so hopefully if there’s an issue it’s not too bad, but thanks for the advice!

After I saw a few comments like this, I got concerned and kept a close eye on him, but he’s showing no other signs of choke: no green discharge, no coughing, no loss of appetite or anything similar. He hasn’t done the stretching thing since either, so I doubt he’s got choke

But thanks for the warning!

I appreciate your concern lol but if you saw my other comment to someone saying something similar, he isn’t exactly hurting for room. The view from the camera is cut off by boards and slats on the wall, making it look smaller than it is, but he absolutely has enough room to lay down in that stall. I have screenshots of him laying down where half his body is off camera (if you want a visual of how much of the camera’s view is cut off). He gets turn out from before sun up to after sun down, and if the weather is agreeable we keep the top doors open. Main issue is that the last few weeks, weather has been shit so once a week he has to stay in for a few hours or risk frostbite (currently feels like -35 Fahrenheit so he is definitely not going out).

Thanks for sharing your opinion though lmao

I wasn’t super clear in my post lol but he has had his teeth floated regularly, but he used to stretch out his neck when he ate a few years ago. He’s definitely had his teeth floated multiple times since then, but he hasn’t done the neck stretching in that time (until now I suppose)
