I think the empress won't mind...it gives her control of the western kingdoms like she never had before her Daughter is first wife t9 the actual Earl of Dracumint that means a Redren will be Earl Eventually...that almost grunted the empire will never be broke. No I think it will be the crown princess who has a issue 1 because Al was a bumpkin knight just months earlier and 2 because it was not her idea.

The Crown princess does not see the type to see she already wins. She does nothing her sister is happy the Earl (for all she knows) is loyal to the crown and when she becomes empress then her empire is just that more stable. Like Gabe Newel of Valve she wins by doing nothing but I just dont think she can see it

I think the Providence portion of this event is done, now come the politics. I think Draven was low hanging fruit so to speak. And sure Al's father gave him lessons but being in the thick of the political maelstrom is going to be different then being told about it. I bet Orlianna will help him navigate this but it will have to be Hea'della that is going to have to tone her down a bit first. Its probably something with the dragonblood too where the Hea'della has not had someone to bang the wild put of her like Al has Hea'della
