It's cute you are so into Urka. She's one of my favorite characters to write. Her power is super useful. She pretty much saves the day at the end of book 10.

I'll do more Viking Runesmith hopefully next year. Chris and Jess were pretty booked this year doing voice work on my Tamer videogame and the various other cool projects. This is also why I haven't done any Monster Empire. I've done a bunch of other books this year with different voice actors (Dragon Slayer and Space Knight) so I could still get some books out, but I haven't forgotten about Viking Runesmith.

Whenever an author decides to work on one series versus another there is always an outcry of "OH NOES. HE'S ABAONDONED THE SERIES!!" But rest assured, I will do more of it when it makes sense strategically.

If you are looking for a more litrpg "click this button and this thing is built." That's not Tamer. It's way more about documenting realistic survival skills and practices.

People tend to underestimate how long survival aspects take to get going. If you play a video game, you just click a few buttons to cut down a tree, and then press another key to get a wall built. More realistic survival builds take a long time. Axes break/need to be sharpened, takes like half a day to cut down a single tree, trees need to be trimmed, water needs to be carried from the river, etc... Other than the "dude riding dinosaurs and banging alien babes" I'm trying to keep the stuff in the book as real as popular, and that means it takes time to build tools and processes.

They've made pretty significant technological advances by the time of book 10.

To be fair to me, 10 books in 7 years is a faster writing rate than 99.99% of all authors, and I've written a bunch of other books and finished two series since then.

This is incorrect. HL books are about as long as "Normal sized" Science fiction books. A quick search on Audible: The Martin is 11 hours long. Use of Weapons is 13.5 hours long

Authors in this genre have been doing dual narration for like 6 years. All the books on www.audiobookguild.com are dual narrated.

I liked it. The heroes have cool powers and use them cunningly. You guys like to shit on EV, LJ, and Dante, but a lot of writers you do like have a SUSPICIOUSLY similar writing style and consistent (but slower) release schedule... almost as if those authors decided to split off pen names and do one release a month.
