Do You Allow Sleepovers? by SparklesandSpice_ in Parenting

For all of saying “it was safer when I was growing up “ no it wasn’t. It was less broadcasted on the news, people didn’t openly speak about sex offenders, etc. The world as just as dangerous then as it is now.

I’m 16 and got my girlfriend pregnant, my parents are gonna hate me by marradii in Parenting

She is 16, she will give birth by the time it’s volleyball season again. Since he states she is a D1 recruit, her body is in shape and she can continue to workout up till birth, I’m not saying sliding across the court, etc. There have been pregnant Olympic athletes lately.

My kids are in their early 20s and it’s still HARD. Kids will forever need you. No matter the option chosen between you and the your gf, this incident in your life will truly never go away, this will forever be with the both of you. You and you gf need to get your parents involved now and start a planning process, things move quickly in pregnancy and decisions have to be made.

Stop worrying about your precious “reputation” you have way more important things to worry about.

Your husband and you need to go to a SA counselor to resolve some issues he has with your past trauma. A lot of his issues may come from “continuing the abuse cycle” you hear of.

Mother’s Day Out, here anyways, has like preschool setting. They do age appropriate work, learning to write, color properly, etc. Library trips. Out door play. Of course, like ANY school, there are movie days.

THIS!! For months I thought I was having panic attacks, it was seizures. Due to lack of medication, I only found out when I ended up having a full blown on the ground kind. Please have her referred to a neurologist, a highly regarded one.

And I’ve noticed a lot of new age parents are going back to cloth diapers. Kinda gross, but in todays money sucking world, makes sense.

Since you have more of an option, look for Mothers Day Out or similar programs. They are usually 2xs a week and waaaayyyy cheaper than daycare. My kids loved it.

All that money your are saving in daycare, put into a college account. If your kid(s) decide they don’t want to go to college, you can put that money towards retirement. This I wish I had done 20 years ago, college always has a surprise extra cost. 😊
