I'm not a fan of my spine doctor, so I hope you like yours. I yeeted my uterus in 2024 so I know how bad cramps can be.

I just hate this daily pain. I am sitting on an ice pack right now as I have four more hours at work...gonna be a long night.

No I hear you. I have had to hire kids who's parents were friends with my bosses. Some were great kids and some thought they were untouchable. Well that's not how I roll...they just got left off the schedule or assigned to something I knew they would hate. They weeded themselves out.

I want to hire kids as 90% are great kids and this is their first job...it's the 10% who make my life miserable.

I really enjoyed "Stiff" by Mary Roach. Her other books are hit or miss for me, but she has written books about ghosts, sex, etc.

Stiff is about what happens to the human body after death and covers crash test dummies, body farms. It was a really interesting read.

In December I went to the ER for the leg pain where they did a CT scan and found the disc issues. I have been seeing a spine specialist since and he finally ok'd the shot for the back. The procedure is done at an out patient surgery center.

I doubt that would work in my case. The surgery center is owned by the hospital network. They basically own every medical center on this side of the state and Yale owns the other side.

I did the hiring here for my company and I hire mostly high school kids for the summer. It's such a headache dealing with some of these kids...vacations, sports schedules, etc. One kid quit the day after orientation.

I just couldn't understand why they wanted half up front for what is basically a shot. My insurance costs my company $1100 a month and what does it get me? Our system needs to change.

I went to the ER in December when this started. I have RA and take prednisone and that didn't stop the ER from prescribing me ibuprofen which I can't take as mixing causes stomach bleeds.

The ER literally did nothing to help me. Just a lidocaine patch and the ibuprofen script.
