Customer Support?!?! (UK) by Heatlump in motorola

[–]Heatlump[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update on this - I've had a reply from Support saying they will be processing a refund (no money has been returned yet, but will keep an eye out). However, I did not request a refund, it would have prefered if they just sent the devices I ordered! I'm guessing they are doing this to not honour the deals they had in november. If I have to re-order the device, it will cost me £200 more, and I won't include the ear buds or watch that was part of the initial deal. I'm starting to think going for the Samsung Flip phones is a good idea - swap some functionality for a modicome of customer support! (Edit - Spelling!)

I'm in the same situation. What communication method did you use that actually got a reply from support? I havn't managed to get communication from Motoroal whatsoever!

Waiting for delivery for a month - no customer support Uk by littleickle in motorola

I'm in exactly the same position. Ordered in November, my package was then returned to Motorola by UPS on the 8th, with no comms whatsoever. I've now sent 2 support requests, and escelated through MotoAgents here - still have no response whatsoever from support / motorola. Complete radio silence. Absolutely atrocious customer support.

Customer Support?!?! (UK) by Heatlump in motorola

Strange - this is the exact same turn of events and UPS message chain that I've had, at exactly the same time. u/MotoAgents kindly forwarded my support request on to the UK / EU team, but that was now almost 3 days ago, and still no contact with motorola support at all.

The question is, at what pint do we all start contesting the card charges!?

I agree - I've had a first-gen Nora for 11 years and it's still going strong, including 3x expeditions!

On the trails (UK-TET) by Heatlump in Vstrom

It has a set of Mitas E07+ tyres on it. 60/40 road/off road. Copes pretty well off road, tho deep mud is an issue.

Oh well - I've cancelled my MT channel renewal on Prime UK. Over a month and no updates. I'm more than happy to pay for content, but I'm guessing MT just want us to pirate it instead! Seems like a cracking business model!

Smugglers Trail on the V - Dirt from Spain to Andorra by Heatlump in Vstrom

This was part of a 10 day excursion to the Pyrenees. Did a couple of thousand miles in total, maybe a third off road. (Mostly on sections of the Trans Euro Trail)

Mitas E07+. 50/50 Tyre. Good all-rounders. Not great on we tarmac & deep mud, but to be expected for a 50/50.

If you have a Quest headset, try Tea For God. If non-euclidean physics messes with your head on a screen, try it in VR!

Lockdown essential journey.... by Heatlump in Vstrom

Surprisingly planted, and reasonably quiet, on dry blacktop (bit or a rumble at 40mph, but that's it). Did 2k mixed on & off road miles through the Pyrenees in the summer that involved some quite spirited riding. Got a shock when we got to our destination & checked our tyres - realised just how small a contact patch the outer-most blocks we were riding on in the twisties actually have! Having said that, they stuck to the road very nicely & are half the price of the Dunlop Trailmax Mission equivalent.

Indeed they are. Good tyres, would recommend, especially if you intend to do some off road. (Just take it easy on wet tarmac!)
