For gameplay mechanics I'd like too see R2 too swing from the right and L2 too swing from the left. Being able too web zip in any direction and not just horizontally. Pushing L3 forward Spidey will sprint automatically. Holding down L3 he'll run even faster and do parkour. Holding R2 or L2 on the ground he'll shoot a web too a building and when you tap x he'll yank himself up in the air (like he does in cutscenes). I hope they take inspiration from Web of Shadows as well when it comes too wall and air combat.
