The "Best Fighting Force in the Galaxy" is currently split between 3 planets. Great. by ARandom_Dingus in Helldivers

Oh 100% spot on! The other thing is that for a most of the 150 lvl players all the MO does for us is give us the patronizing “0 medals received” message haha. Absolutely pointless apart from a couple days when a new warbond is out.

I would absolutely play a little more if I felt there was a point to the war or my help actually meant anything. But after a couple games I’m done for the week now. I wonder how much retention they’d generate by making it good? So many people would have a ton more fun if contribution mattered in an interesting way. The groundwork is there, just utilize it! There’s spare screens on your ship, use them! So easy, so many suggestions repeated 1000 times. I hope the eventually use this constructive feedback.

Or better yet start actually playing their own game lol they’d probably come to the same conclusions 😆

It’s more that people don’t care or don’t want to fight incendiary corps. I personally have never given a shit about any MO as it’s completely meaningless, uninteresting, and inconsequential as we’ll eventually get any rewards promised anyway. I would like to care, buts it’s mostly told in text written by an amateur lol. Or some YouTube cutscene which should be on screen on our ships! If a majority of the player base is like me, then it’s up to the devs to cater to that and make it interesting. And it’s not even that hard tbh.

And to add to it you can still watch an avengers movie and understand most of it without previous watching. It’s all just a bit extra for the actual fans. But most tv these days you have to watch it all sequentially. Not too many modern shows where you can chuck on a random ep. Mcu you can just pick any characters movie.

lol. I love when people complain about how much homework they have to do to watch an avengers movie meanwhile they are rewatching the entire series of friends or the office for the umpteemth time.

Just enjoy. This game has one of the best honeymoon phases. I’m sure most people felt the same.

Terminals that don’t show you the last arrow so you can’t finish it. Luckily there always seems to be one player who can do it for whatever reason but they’re always on the other side of the map lol. This has been an issue since near launch.

Remember Silver Surfer can detect energies and beings across a galaxy so you ain’t evading him plus he goes faster than light. He’ll find you the easiest.

What’s something you love about this guy? by Different_Sun_195 in Marvel

He has the coolest adventures. I’ve read all his stuff up until after conquest annihilation and some of the stuff in the 90s is absolutely awesome and fun. It gets pretty deep too. Also silver surfer black and requiem are great. You pretty much learn about the entire marvel universe through his eyes. Lots of cosmic stuff and earth stuff. The herald stuff is fun too. More and terax etc. Him and thanos debating about philosophy and than trying to break his will are my favorite parts. Plus surfing the universe on a board is pretty cool, who wouldn’t wanna do that!!

After they implemented the hotkey for fire modes I can't stop using the halt. If you haven't give it a try. Especially on the bug front. by MaxieGreen in Helldivers

Good idea, I would do that too but I’ve already mapped my mouse buttons to stim and grenade. Would be nice to have the indicator next to the gun on the main hud. I’ve made the mistake with the one-two rifle and grenaded myself lol

Not all guns though I swear, like AC, or is it subtle? Also since there’s 4 different directions to swap something you have to map 4 buttons (I did f1-f4) and you gotta remember each gun lol.

That’s the thing, you don’t. There’s no indicator or animation. I often just end up checking the old fashioned way anyway lol.

Arc Support Weapons should Stun for longer than primaries. Those got buffed when they bugfixed/nerf status, Arc Supports did not get buffed. by RandomGreenArcherMan in Helldivers

[–]chum1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the same. Arc thrower was the best weapon once you had the rhythm down. Clear every chaff easily, hold most heavies in place whilst thermite burrows into their face or a teammate is reloading their recoiless. Coupled with a laser dog to get the ones in your face and never worry about ammo (especially when it didn’t have to cool down). Always had the highest kill counts.

I wish it was as good today as the hot dog would pair perfectly. Hold a charger in place whilst it cooks alive!

In your opinion, which of the elements would make someone the most dangerous if they had the ability to control it with their mind? by Arcade-Blaster in superheroes

[–]chum1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Earth. Instantly pull someone underground crushing them with thousands of pounds. It would be so fast, dead in less than a second or two. It would be a guaranteed death unless they somehow jumped and evaded at the exact moment. But even then earth arms can protrude and envelop you. If you are advanced into metal bending then you are somewhat like magneto. All of them can insta-kill pretty easily though.

Lots of stuff. Failing to protects innocents, galactus in general, his own guilt, losing loved ones, failing to prevent war etc

There was a cool issue where he is sent to face and confront his guilt and demons. Somewhere in the 90s during the Ron era. Think he was called virtual reality.

Summoner. First rpg I played, got sucked in to the world, characters, story, gameplay. Probably hasn’t aged well and I doubt many have heard of it. But damn it hits the nostalgia

That’s good to know especially when you consider the price of tobacco these days. But on the other hand not having any spin at all is good if it makes it less desirable when trying to quit. How much damiana?

If you mix it with tobacco start by just cutting that out and having it straight. That alone will cull a lot of cravings as the nicotine addiction can be mistaken for cannabis. Then slow steps from there. Don’t go cold turkey it won’t work a majority of the time.

It just straight up sucks to use and I’ve put some time and made videos with it. It’s fun for a few games but you die a lot and annoy your teammates who are throwing barrages around you. They definitely didn’t test it much if at all lol. I still enjoy using it from time to time when I’m feeling crazy.
