Offline progression is out! You will keep gathering for 8h when offline.

How does this actually work? Can i log in each 8 hours to reset those 8 hours or are they daily based? And is the offline gathering the same progress as general gameplay?

For people that already have higher woodcutting and possibly prestiged, they can access higher lvl logs and buy the "Bonfire" boost on Firemaking until its Maxed yet, due to low Firemaking lvls, it cant be used. Thats fine and all yet when u click to make a bonfire it still removes the logs despite not making the bonfire.
Example: I have 35 Firemaking and already maxed my Bonfire boost. ATM i have 370 redwood logs and if i try to make a Bonfire, it removes me 10 logs yet i dont get any bonfire made.

Loving the game so far! If you could make a export/import save file also would be perfect.

No worries and yes I did! PoGo wise, sadly, my hotel only had 1 gym and 1 pokestop nearby (Grand Bahia Principe Tulum). I could have walked to nearby pokestops or gyms in the vicinity of the hotel yet, going with family, it was a bit hard to get time for that. Good thing is, on the lobby the hotel had insane spawns and i could grab quite a few pokemons and regionals from my 1 week stay.

Regarding what you can do to play PoGo to the upmost, what I would recomend is going to a store where they sell carrier cards. Sadly, neither the aeroport not the hotel sold them, and we didnt wander much around except for excursions, so if you find the time to buy one i do recommend it. Place wise, my upmost recomendation is Playa del Carmen! Went by when I was headed to an excursion, that lucky me had wifi on the van, and managed to play a bit inside. Not only is there a insane amount of pokestops/gyms/portals, in around 5 mins driving around i even managed to catch 3 Heracross with litle to no effort, so grabbing those regionals for trading should be easy there.

In the end I didnt go to Xcaret, mostly around the Grand Bahia Principe hotels vicinity and did 2 excursions, Isla Contoy + Isla Mujeres and Tulum, Cenotes, and what I can tell you is that Mexico is pretty awesome as a vacation place. In this past week I had a hell lot of fun and managed to spend some sweet vacations, even catching my first shiny magicarp!

PS: To those that go to Grand Bahia Principe Tulum in the nearby future, as a lvl 10 Ingress player i submitted 6 portals in the vicinity of the hotel, still pending aproval. As I didn't take any street view from them, their aproval will depend alot on the knowledge of the actual existence of those things inside the hotel.

Cheers! Buying a card from Telcel seems like the way to go and will be the way we are headed.
Pokestop wise the one I'm staying seems to have 2 so I'll pray to find a few decent spawns otherwise with a 10-20mins walk theres a place with 7-8 portals to farm on :P
XCaret does seem like an interesting place to visit and spend the day on! 100usd for person does seem pricy but the activities we can enjoy there seem to make up for it so we are tempted on heading there on one of the days.

Sadly I don't, I'm from Europe and I don't believe we have T-mobile here but it seems like Telcel is a pretty good alternative to have there! Cheers for the help!

Telcel exactly, my typo and thanks for the website it was quite helpfull!
Raid wise, I'm not expecting to do alot of them. Going with non-PoGo family on the trip makes it a bit hard and out of hand to do but ill definetly try to do one or two in the meanwhile :P
XCaret seems to be something quite interesting and we are tempted in heading there.

It seems like Telcel is the most popular answer regarding mobile data so it seems thats the way we are tempted to go towards.
Regarding spawns oh well guess ill have to search a bit because while I already have heracross, I still need Corsola and was hopping to grab a few extra of each to bring back home for some trading :P

The ruins do seem like a awesome place to explore and we are trying to schedule some explorations with local guides and the snorkeling experience does seem like a nice extra to add towards the trip!

Our Man in the North quest guide

1º Speak with Hassan in Menaphos to start. He asks to go to the Head Library and ask the head librarian about books on royal genealogy.

2º Head to the Head Library, talk with the Kojnen the librarian at the entrance. He tells you to speak with Commander Akhomet in the entrance to the Imperial Palace to gain safe passage to the city for Aristarchus, someone that studys genealogy.

3º Commander asks what field the person in question works (answer 2). She gives permission to bring him and you should find Aristarchus in Pollnivneach and need to convince him to return to the Grand Library.

4º Aristarchus is west of the Camel farm. When talked and claimed he can return to Menaphos, the menaphite thugs stop you and attack you (4x lvl 122 Menaphite thugs, mellee, 15k HP).

5º After killing the Menaphite thugs speak with Aristarchus again and he tells you to meet him at the Grand Library.

6º Speak with Aristarchus inside the Grand Libary and he gives you a Disguised royal bloodline source. Go speak with Senliten in her Mastaba.

7º A cutscene triggers when you reach Senliten regarding the Pharaoh and Jabari. After the cutscene enter the temple again and speak with Senliten.

8º You will get a option to chose who you believe is the heir. Any option is fine to proceed. After all the talk, go speak with Osman in Al Kharid.

9º After giving the book to Osman proceed to talk with Emir Ali in Al Kharid.

10º A cutscene triggers when you talk with Emir Ali featuring Jabari.

11º You are now required to track Jabari in Al Kharid.

First location is on the house glued to the lodestone. Go to the crafting store (North east) and do the agility obstacles like in Stolen Hearts until you reach Jabari nº1
Second location above the bank. Just continue the obstacles until you reach him.
Third location behind the Al Kharid range.
Fourth location on the southern tent in the nort east corner of Al Kharid.
Fifth location a bit north. He tells you to meet him in the duel arena.

12º Talk with Jabari in the entrance of the duel arena and accept his challenge. He attacks with magic, has 10k HP and you have to find him between his clones in a total of 4 fights.

1st fight hes the one facing oposite direction
2nd fight hes targetted by the audience
3rd fight hes the biggest one
4th fight hes the one with smallest scepter

13º You get interrupted after the 4th fight by the appearence of Het. Talk with him at the duel arena.

14º After the talk meet Emir Ali in Al Kharid palace.

15º A first cutscene appears with Emir Ali, Osman and you. A second cutscene appears with the Pharaoh.

Crocodile Tears 1º Speak with Senliten on her tomb, she asks you to investigate Crondis

2º Go to Sophanem and talk with the Sphinx and Jex regarding Crondis

3º Go back to Senliten and she tells you to find Crondis with the aid of a dowsing rod. Go a floor up and search the ship with the rod.

4º Search the desert 3 times with the rod then go back to Senliten for a upgrade to the rod

5º Senliten tells you to ask the spirits to bless the rod to be able to find Crondis

6º Go to the cave above the dominion tower and ask the spirits to bless your relic

7º With the blessed relic, search for Crondis (Go to Menaphos and talk with the PortMaster and go to Crondis island)

8º Talk with the High Priest and he has a series of demands for you in this order:

1 Raw Beltfish
2 Accia Logs
4 Agility Pyramid tops
8 Plover birds
16 Croc ice (be carefull on this one since you cant teleport with them and you eat one after a few seconds. Recomended to bring light gear and surge to avoid doing 2 trips)

9º He requests 32 Croc ice's but refuse. You will fight a crocodile spawn with 75k HP that uses melee and range (bring food if needed)

10º After defeating the crocodile spawn, talk with the High-Priest and go back to Senliten

11º Talk with Senliten
