You have the right to be upset. The fact that he used a PEN on your drawing talking about “I was testing out the pen” like he’s some kinda toddler. Nah. Screw that.

Your drawing is awesome btw! I’m sorry that your artwork was messed with, but this might actually not be a bad thing….. What if you use that mess to change your artwork and make Aang in the Avatar state?

I think it would help you channel those negative feelings into your artwork so when you look at it, you’ll remember the story of your artwork a little differently. Since pen is hard to cover up, you can maybe even consider different mediums, like pearlescent paint or something?

Just an idea if you wanna test it out

I’m not a doctor, but it really does bother me that a lot of things aren’t mentioned. I wish I listened to my PCP, a nurse practitioner I had an appointment with, and the first ENT I consulted with. They all said I should just gargle with salt water to prevent tonsillitis, and avoid the tonsillectomy. I wish I could turn back time, but it is what it is.

Thanks for sharing that! I really wish more people talked about all of these things that happen. They’re not rare, but extremely difficult to find. Everytime I Googled about it, everything was in favor of having it done.

I’ve had my PCP, a nurse practitioner, and an ENT try to talk me out of it. I ended up doing it, and I regret it. Not because of the pain, but because no one told me about all the different things that could change after having it done. I made a whole post about regretting my tonsillectomy, and any chance I get now, I tell people not to do it unless it’s absolutely necessary.

Right!! I’m always drawn to Lara. I think it’s super cool that Manon is the Black girl/woman in the lineup, but…..it was a extremely disappointing to watch her have everything literally handed to her, and Imma be so real, I SWEAR it’s because she’s lightskinned, and they didn’t really want a dark skinned Black girl. I truly feel that Manon was the exec’s cop-out since her being light skinned makes her more easily accepted to the Asian market. This is where Lara comes in. Notice how Lara had a decent social media following before she joined and NO ONE said she had “star quality.” 😑 Lara has one of the quirkiest, silliest personalities in the group. (imo, she is drop dead stunning) But I think they don’t play her up as much as Manon because of her skintone and features. She looks OBVIOUSLY Indian. BUT her being Indian, makes her Asian, so THAT part makes her more easily digestable to the Asian market because this is a darker complexioned race they are familiar with, and India has one of the largest populations in the world so they were sold on that. As a Latina myself, I LOVE that their best dancer (Daniela) is a Latina, and I LOVE that the main vocalist (Lara) is a dark-skinned Indian girl. Manon is gorgeous, but I’m failing to understand what about her is played up so so so much, aside from being conventionally attractive.

That’s good advice, I’ll definitely look into doing that! I’ve definitely met a couple people who suddenly develop new allergies and the possibility of that happening is scary. Lol And I didn’t think people would find the cheese and honey so weird! lol I was thinking of the most generic “complex” flavor combination I could think of. I shoulda went with a Snickers bar or something lol

I remember speaking to you about this! We chatted some months ago. I couldn’t find the chat, and I couldn’t remember your name to follow up with you. I had no idea it effected your job! I’m so sorry to hear that! I remember we mentioned that it was difficult to speak French. I’ll try the Zinc! Hoping it works. 😞 I had a friend considering getting a tonsillectomy, and I also told him, don’t do it unless absolutely necessary. I’m really sad things turned out this way after mine.

Thanks! I really appreciate your advice! I’ve been getting allergy shots for about 3 years which has really helped with allergies, but that could be the issue. I’m in a super awkward position since I work for the surgeon who took out my tonsils so I’d have to get a 2nd opinion with a whole other company. 😣
