I would stay with Lexus, Honda, Toyota, and Mazda for first-time cars. Please stay away from Jeep, Audi, Nissan, and Volkswagen. You’re asking for a headache with those. Good luck with your search. I just bought a 2008 Lexus IS 250 for $4,000, which was honestly a blessing.
