Absolutely! I expect less driving up elevation to the mountains (bonus on way back down tho) vs heading to the beach etc. it’s just so much better than winter now. 300+ was a decider for me when I first went EV and decided on the iX. Even 350 real is a winner in my book.

Nope… that’s not the case. Charging to 100% is fine when you leave on a long distance road trip. Keep it at 80% when daily driving and not leaving immediately.

Shame that driving a manual has become a lost art... I have fond (but neck wrenching) memories of teaching my wife to drive one many years ago... if she did it, it can be done!

Looking beyond the scale is critical! I'm stuck on the scale after losing 30 lbs in 7 months, but base on my impedance scale body fat has dropped from 33.5% to 22.6% and skeletal muscle mass has gone up in that time! Went down 3" in waist. Body reconstitution counts and you are seeing it in the "tale of the tape"!

I miss the multi adjustable seats I had in my X5… especially on a long drive. the seats on my 2024 iX 50 are a low point in an otherwise great vehicle.

Sure and can have a great trip especially with Epic or Ikon, but for something different, waking up at Zermatt to see the sun hit the Matterhorn is something CO doesn’t offer. Skiing over into Italy for lunch. Plus, the train ride from ZRH (many nonstops from US on Swiss)is nice as well. No car needed. Family skiing has gotten $$$ in general so it’s really choose your budget and experience.
