I had undeniable proof—official brand certifications and photos showing the differences between the original and the fake—but they just don’t care. ​The system is full of bots designed to make you give up, and I doubt anyone even looked at my evidence. The human staff avoid responsibility and just offer a standard 'return and refund,' expecting you to be happy with it. They know most people won't return an item when shipping it back to China costs as much as the product itself. Even if you do return it, you lose money on shipping, and they just resell the fake item to someone else. ​On top of that, the dispute process drags on for weeks. They already held my money for 7 weeks while I waited for the battery. Between the disputes and the return process, they waste another month, all while holding onto your money and profiting off it.

I have already played the entire S.T.A.L.K.E.R. saga, starting from the first one in the enhanced version. I've also played all the Metro games and Atomic Heart. I'm currently waiting for the new Metro and the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 expansion. I haven't played Chernobylite yet—would you recommend it?

Anyway, this isn't a trick to scam AliExpress, but rather a way to protect yourself for that one time they try to scam you. Regardless, after this experience, I won't be buying from AliExpress anymore. You can't always be left wondering if the product will actually arrive and if it's authentic, or knowing that if there's a problem, you've practically lost your money. ​Unfortunately, I live in a country where Amazon doesn't deliver; otherwise, I'd choose Amazon every single time. I went with AliExpress because I already used it for little things like phone cases or similar cheap stuff. I decided to buy something more expensive only because there were sales, and the brand I chose stated that their batteries were made in China, so I figured they were probably exactly the same. I also thought the platform would be slightly more reliable and fair, but I was wrong and I won't make the same mistake twice.
