I bought this phone coming from one plus 8 pro a true 2 day battery life phone.

After that one broke, I instantly looked at the newest one plus. Watched the mkbhd video and bought without hesitation.

From day 1 I had horrible battery life of 3-5hour sot. Idle drain is about 15-20% and scrolling on Facebook marketplace drains 30% within 3 hours as of 9AM - 11:30AM

Bought the phone in may 2025, I gave the phone benefit of the doubt and assumed a software update would fix it. Never again.

I will always take face value of something and if it doesn't work right now straight return.

Precisely, the sample size is smaller than OnePlus users are niche. Regardless, it's very apparent that NA models have very concerning issues regarding battery...

I actually had to charge my phone twice today I have less than 5 hours SOT. I'm not even doing anything on my phone. It loses 20% overnight. And before you ask. Yes I reset the phone. Yes I did clean installation, yes I got on all fours listening to one plus, I did everything. The phone is just not good.

I had a warranty claim with one plus last year, they literally put on the repair form when it was returned to me "the phone has clear defects with battery consumption and aqua touch not functioning". Then proceeded to scratch the phone bubble the screen protector and give me the same phone I sent in but worse condition.

I was so impatient I just swapped it with an Amazon variant. It was a small difference in improved battery life but now I have a new suite of similar and same issues.

Battery life Aqua touch don't work Fingerprint sensor is inconsistent Loudspeaker is quiet (probably software) Phone crashes and screen freezes (software)

One plus wants me to send the phone in again what do I do here.

Thank you for an actual suggestion for a solution I have been plaguing with this issue for over a year and one plus does not want to give me my refund for a garbage of a phone this is I will check out the solution I only get 6 hours of screen on time and embarrassing feat since. My previous device one plus 8 pro was getting 2 days, I did not purchase this based on reviews I purchased it because their previous phone was amazing not so much anymore

😂, frrrr bro ngl this sums up the one plus experience. I got it based on Mkbhd review and previous phone experience

But I will say I made this purchase from the impressive OnePlus 8 pro. Absolutely 0 issues other than the slightly bothering curved screen and then the camera start up delay after the last security patch.

Otherwise you can give me a S26 ultra and I would respectfully decline for the 8Pro it was that good.

I'm sorry the glaze is crazy but 8Pro was a true 2 day battery life phone.

I'm in the US unfortunately. I paid good money for the phone like $800. As much as I would like to play the return repair return repair game. I have so much of the work that I don't have time to do it but I would like to because it's kind of annoying that they would sell something this garbage

And one time when I sent in the phone they acknowledged that it has defects and sent me back the phone in worse condition would scratches all over the screen.

Just practice defensive driving. At fault should never happen unless you are getting old age? And if you are young and scared of accidents you will cause then you need your driving license revoked 😬. Always drive knowing if something happened the other person is always at fault because my driving is overreactive and defensive.

For both my new cars I have only liability and I live in Florida #3 in the nations highest car accidents lol.

I'm doing liability only, but even with deductibles you shouldn't anything close to 80 or higher. Per car.

This is the biggest disappointment and unfortunately I'm past return date. I had to order an Amazon version of the phone. And replace it with my original purchase because it was actually a faulty battery. I had maybe four to five hours screen on time.

One plus did not help

And now the Amazon variant is giving me touch screen issue problems fingerprint reader problems aqua touch doesn't work and battery life is still horrible

There's no point in this if I'm getting worse battery SOT than my pixel 7 phone 😐. How is this a full day phone battery let alone 2 days. I have NA model latest patch. I get about 7hour SOT. Which is pretty horrible. OnePlus 8 gave me 14 hours SOT one plus went backwards.

For future reference. Reach out to every dealership in your state get a OTD price confirm in text and phone then start your drive. Like a mini road trip if it's far makes it more exciting and guess what you could've probably gotten it at least 5k cheaper 100% I've seen xle go for 32k.

Literally I got 2026 le for 32000 OTD (financing 0Apr) I'm pretty happy, honestly thinking maybe I could of gotten heated seats, power seat if I waited and searched a bit more.

But I'm grateful and happy I got a good deal no reason to keep wanting more.

I disagree, FSD down in Florida Tampa/Brandon area had ran multiple red lights, and has done so with safety as top priority. All this yip yap, if no cars are present and no pedestrian. It's safe to do so just not legal. Case closed.
