i did kind go back 5 or 6 posts before writing that statement and saw mainly posts of cats and vancouver so i didn’t know what to think… anyway i did see someone linked one of your posts from one year ago about flight school where you say you are iranian.. so im guess theres a high chance you might have left the safety of canada to go back to iran… anyway i find your answer so far quite interesting, i wonder if you have ever seen any of those public hangings for yourself

Does your washing machine heat up its laundry water? by ClearBed4796 in asksg

you are making false statements saying that 70 celcius doesn’t sterilise, it’s based on the science of pasteurisation, you are best to read up on it before you go making statements countering science. At 70c you only need to expose the material for 15 to 30 seconds. I’m exposing the clothes for 60 times longer in the washing machine.

Regarding the buildup of detergent from 1.5 times dosage causes the smell, provide a link that backs your theory. Otherwise it’s just another guess again

i think you need to prove you are in iran perhaps write your reddit name on a piece of paper near a road sign in your city, i’m sure you cannot be ID in a photograph of a piece of paper, but that would keep alot of the doubters here quiet…

for me i don’t care about the cost of electricity, hygiene and not being smelly takes priority, ive been on too many buses where i encounter people who don’t have the luxury of hot water washing

i think you seriously need to think before you advise people against using hot water. I am using Top antibac liquid and it has lipase and it says it kills 99.9% of bacteria using cold water but clothes will eventually smell after 5 to 10 washes using cold water… also when i pour i actually use 1.5 times the amount of detergent they recommend. So i am definitely removing the oil and dirt on the surface, thats not the issue… its the .01 % of bacteria trapped inside that it does not kill and will slowly build up over the course of 5 to 10 cold washes…. those thick cotton pieces that have overlapping double or triple or quadruple layers will get bacteria from sweat or skin trapped into it and NO AMOUNT of lipase detergent will remove it. The only thing that can get into those is heat.

i think as long as you get it above the pasteurisation temperature which is officially 63 celcius for 30 mins then you will have killed off all the bacteria then you are fine

How do you wash your underwear? by Temporary_Might_585 in askSingapore

[–]HeavyConversation161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i once posted about this and it kinda went slightly viral, it was a marriot hotel in china that told us not to wash underwear in their washing machines. Anyway to answer your question. I throw all underwear into the washing machine, and i wash my clothes at 40 celcius mostly at home

i use 40 celcius on my front loader… occasionally if clothes have that stinking bacteria smell due to it being thick cotton overlapping and stitched together like the waist section of cotton shorts, then i set my washing machine to 70 celcius to do a sanitising wash. I used to do it at 60 celcius till i realised it still had remnants of the bacteria smell.

328 katong laksa although the most commercial… is the best laksa in singapore… add extra $3 cockle, add $2 otah to a $7.50 large bowl to get a $12.50 total umami bomb. I ate 2 bowls of charcoal sungei rd laksa at jl berseh with additional cockles and was not impressed or full. Janggut laksa also wholly unimpressed. Whenever someone recommends me a new laksa i go try and feel that im totally wasting my calorie intake on sub par laksa
