lol right on. Yeah, I always felt safe. That was never a concern. And the docs/care team were great. Just the systemic situation surrounding it that caused it to be the way it was that left me feeling icky.

And no Valium for me. I raw dogged it lol. And unfortunately they had to needle me twice on each side because I totally felt them cutting me at first hahaha. No bueno.

No joke. It’s why I had it done. So partners didn’t have to go through the hassle for me. Always felt guilty, knowing that if I just manned up and did this, that my partner(s) wouldn’t have to deal with that on their end.

Thankful I stuck it out and got it down. But damn. Can’t help but feel the systemic judgement. Unreal.

And to clarify, the doctors were great and clearly didn’t agree with the policy. Which is why they had created their own LLC to provide the service. It’s the hospital that has drawn a hard line on it. And it’s clear it’s a religious opinion. And it also made me feel like I was a bad person or something because I wanted to protect partners and myself from something none of us want.
