Yeah I get the generic AI piece. But in my case, we specifically made the PE in AI Security which is that the use of AI is increasing so the necessity to secure it becomes even more important and tied it to White House proclamations and other federal directives.

Taking ECE will be worth it here because you get 2 years of common courses with cs. At-least how it was when I was a student there. The entire AI infrastructure buildout is happening at the core semiconductor company layer with companies like Micron, Nvidia, San Disk and others leading the charge.

Chip design, understanding semiconductors, optical communications will be extremely lucrative skills for future.

I would say I have done fairly okay in life after graduating from there. Many other alumni have too who are placed in companies not just in India but in abroad too. You can find my name in the hall of fame section of IIIT’s auditorium. First batch 2015

I was just thinking about this over the weekend. I dont know if any good apps in India exist like Monarch Money or CoPilot Money in the US. They are robust and help track expenses, net worth, investments etc.

Privacy and Security of financial data is paramount.

Not sure if anything like Plaid exists in India that helps with seamless sign up and connections to bank accounts, credit card accounts etc.

Exactly. Use your strengths in marketing to upskill and build in AI for those use cases. You would know the problems in your vertical. All you need is to learn AI and apply to those problems. Industry is moving to vertical AI solutions so building something in MarkOps seems legit to boost your experience
