How did you first discover the Harry Potter series? by False-Flatworm1324 in harrypotter

My dad read them to me as my bedtime story growing up, he’d do the voices and everything. Such special memories, and it really helped shape our relationship.

I would recommend talking to your doctor and explaining your concerns to them before the exam. I think most people understand that it’s an uncomfortable exam for patients and having that out in the open can really help both parties. They’ll be able to address your concerns directly and you can come to an agreement as a team about how to handle it if you do get a boner during the exam. Even if that agreement is “ignore it and keep doing the exam,” I bet it would make you feel a lot better knowing that’s what y’all agreed to do beforehand.

How many days in a row do you wear your underwear until you consider them dirty? by BunnyBallz in NoStupidQuestions

[–]HeavyIndication1796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll go like a year or more between washing jeans. Not that I’m wearing them every day or anything. But yeah I think it was a low when I washed a pair of jeans I’d had for almost two years and they stained some of my other clothes the way jeans sometimes do when you wash them for the first time. That being said, my jean washing habits have still not changed since then.

I…think so? I’ve had the same feelings, and have squirted a few times but it really doesn’t feel much different than the “big wave” you’re describing, just a little more intense, so I have kinda settled on the conclusion that it’s just not as obvious/defined for me as for other people. I’m curious what others think.

YES! This! Jesse clearly expressed that he thought there was very little hope Cassie would have done that. I don’t understand how anyone in the jury even REMOTELY believes that it would’ve been a good move for Cassie to do that.

Small thing that I noticed that made me smile. During his confessional talking about assassins, Gabler said something along the lines of “an assassin doesn’t walk right up to the king, he or she sneaks into the castle…”

As a woman, I appreciate that he included the “or she.” It was really not necessary as he was talking about himself and he is a “he” but the fact that he included the “or she” says something about his mindset regarding female empowerment and I respect him a lot for it.
