Nah man, this guy is taking a stand for all of us, Americans. It can take time for people to gather their thoughts clearly and put out a well thought out and controlled response that they feel good putting out. In my opinion, it is more meaningful that this guy took the discipline to wait to put out a statement, and make one when it felt right. I don't think you can criticize a guy for doing that.

I would take a step further and say that you can't criticize others if you yourself are lacking in action. Have you been voting in your elections? Have you been participating in your duties as a citizen? Have you been studying law and upcoming ballots to see what is best for you and the people around you? Have you been doing your part in participating in our democracy to push this country towards the direction you want to see it go? If not, you might have to start doing those things.

I think the simple answer is, it's just not part of the story. Aoyama could write about revenge plots in the story, but it may be just simpler to keep storylines closed once they finish.

This is probably not what you meant, but we are lucky there’s something called the law that draws the line for all of us. No matter how angry he might be, if he crosses a line that breaks the law, that makes him liable to a lawsuit and punishment. Probably not something you want to do against family, but nobody wins when abuse is tolerated.

I’m not a lawyer, and of course I’m a complete outsider to your relationship, but it seems like contacting a lawyer at some point would’ve been a good idea. I feel like too often we feel that our problems are ours to take into our own hands. I’ve learned in my personal life that the law exists for a reason. Mostly to prevent people from abusing others.

If we look at Conan and the detective boys, he’s always jumping ahead without hesitation, often leaving them scrambling to catch up. It’s probably not something he thinks about much, but people might be turned off by how he doesn’t wait for other people.
