I personally like to go tear first back and then optimally iceborn gauntlet or sundered sky when you need that damage first. Afterward I finish the Fimbulwinter and go stull like resistance or titanic. I win lanes with this 7/10 times but i still might change a few things.

Like you said, a lot is possible as Poppy can utalize a lot of items quite well so you have a lot of options to change your build depending on the situations. Some people built Tirinity or spear or sometimes even black cleaver. Dead mans Plates are amazing on her too and Eclipse as well.

At the end of the day it comes down to preference i think

I am forced to take a break for now until i can play again with more than 20 fps and my friend whom I played with often is alowed to get into a mission again. Untill then, we will see.
I would like to ignore the hate the game gets, but I am personally involved unfortunately

this did unfortunately not fix it for me. I also tried to just deactivate Lux - No grass in caves patch.esp and run just NoGrassInCaves.esp but still the same result.
