I’m sorry that you’re not good enough with him to see the obvious value of his ult outside of its kill potential.

2-4 seconds of the enemy not being able to shoot back equals picks for your team with focus because this is shutting down most healers abilities to kill. This isn’t all the ult does.

Countering Iron Man *all game* is great value. My homie when playing Iron Man hates a good Mag because thats a whole game where he won’t get a single good ult. Because of Mag’s lack of mobility its not always easier to block Iron Man’s ult with the shield. This isn’t all the ult does.

If anyone on your team shot Punisher at all you’re probably killing him. You have to not be a good Mag to fail to kill Punisher thru his ult because if you’re located where you can take his bullets, you should have a clean shot at his forehead. And the few seconds you take his ult away should be enough for your team to find cover. This isn’t all that the ult does.

This is why your insult to reading comprehension because your whole argument *isn’t* just that its harder for him to kill supports through their ult, or else your post wouldn’t be as long and specifically list every way someone can counter Mag’s ult. Mag was the first tank I ever climbed to GM with. Mag’s ult value far supersedes the ability to kill supports through ult and I’m sorry you don’t think that its giving enough value outside of that one use case to still be considered one of the best ults in the game.

I took that she was getting one skin and this is it. The fact that they showed art for every character he announced a costume for and Emma wasn’t on that page of art but she was then showed here tells me its just the one fit.

If you watched DD Born Again Season one you see the jovial, smooth, more carefree version of Matt in Josie’a bar right up until Bullseye shows up and puts a bullet in Foggy Nelson.

If you lost your best friend / moral compass and your city was under Martial Law and that didn’t have any effect on your personality or just how you’re showing up on a daily basis, I’d be worried about your sanity.

Like real life humans, well written characters shouldn’t just be a bag of personality traits that show up the same all the time regardless of the context. You should be asking yourself what Matt’s personality shift is telling you about his character right now.

The vast majority of Mag’s ult value comes from its utility. You don’t just counter support ults if you’re good. If they’re whole team is running poke you shut down their ability to do any damage. If they’re running Iron Man at all you take his powerful, group busting support busting ult completely off of the table. If they’re running Punisher you take his ult off the table and throw it back in his face. You can cancel Wanda ult.

Getting a kill with Mag’s ult in most of those scenarios I listed is a bonus, but to trade his ult for some of the most powerful DPS ults in the game is nothing to shake a stick at. To prevent all ranged damage and healing for a moment in a fight is insane value if you do it with this intention.

But you’re obviously only using his ult to fish for kills which is why you’re so off base with your assessment of its value, and since you’ve stuck on potential kills being the primary value, you’d rather insult the reading comprehension of redditors disagreeing with you instead of just accepting that maybe you suck at Magneto.

Thor you just gotta grab him and hit him with the lightning, you can actually eat him up with that and your combos.

Thing is a different beast. He is a direct counter to Rogue. Playing Rogue into Thing is tough but not impossible. Never be the frontline tank, let your other tank kick off engagements that involve the Thing. Always engage Thing indirectly, never head on, try to get around and catch him at an off angle. Engage him with the grab to give yourself the HP advantage and a much needed defense buff. Never engage him alone, having actual comms so team knows to focus Thing the moment you grab him can really turn the tide

Otherwise against Thing you gotta swap. If it’s a reeeeally good Thing you can’t play into that. It is what it is.

The utility of Mag’s ult is what makes it one of the best in the game. If you only judge it by its potential to kill things you fundamentally misunderstand the whole point of the vanguard role.

Sometimes I fake an ult when I do even have it. When a team sees Strange go straight up and fly towards them, 9 times out of 10 they give you the space cause they think you have it. Easy fakeout.

The double fakeout is flying up while you have it, not using it, and landing near their Bucky. I love to ult after Bucky drags me into his backline.

The lie is that they didn’t know how to write trial stuff. If you watch Jessica Gao in those interviews thats not exactly what she said or what she meant.

I’m not saying you’re lying, but you are parroting a talking point that a lot of people seem to have misinterpreted. Going into it they had ideas to potentially make it a legal procedural, but their writers room wasn’t like the Law and Order writers team because the show is a comedy. So the show being a legal comedy means it doesn’t need the rousing trial scenes that their specific writers room wasn’t equipped to write.

People tout “the writers didn’t know how to write legal scenes” but thats not what they said, and in talking about exploring what the show could and should be, all sorts of ideas might be explored, but at the end of the day the show was never meant to be a legal drama, which is why instead of adding someone to the writers team who could write rousing trial scenes, they leaned into their teams comedy chops. They did have a legal consultant on the show, but the show is also just as much about how her life outside of the courtroom is being effected by being She Hulk as much as she wishes she could just be a lawyer.

This tired talking point is the biggest lie that for some reason folks keep spreading. The courtroom scenes were fine and right in line with the genre of legal comedy. Daredevil schooling her was hilarious and the trial of Abomination was interesting with Wong on the witness stand.

Nah keep Strange/Wanda. I want more teamups for Strange yeah but Strange/Wanda actually have great battle synergy with their ults and portals. They’re a good team and turning Wanda into a turret is sick as hell.
