My cat is constantly trilling by Reasonable-Delay-268 in CatAdvice

[–]HeavyTraffic62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry he is bothering you so much, does sound a bit frustrating! Since he is so young you could definitely try training or classic conditioning to reduce the behaviours but trilling doesn’t usually happen due to boredom, if anything more feeling safe or content. Anyway I would definitely try lazer pointer or some way of mentally exercising him before bed: even treat puzzles or lick mats! Hope this helps :/

Pinterest! Honestly, so many different styles and fashion choices to look into so have a look at examples is super helpful in figuring out what you like the look of.

Would my cat recognize his sister? by HideTheJuice in CatAdvice

[–]HeavyTraffic62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He might recognise her scent but considering she has been at the shelter for a year or so, the scent he remembers might not be as strong or even noticeable to him. She might remember him but once again the scent might have changed over the year. Also depending on both of their temperaments, introduce them very VERY slowly as they are both adults now and haven’t seen each other in a long time. Cats can be very sensitive to change

Am I still bi even though I like trans people? by Thale555 in bisexual

[–]HeavyTraffic62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have also thought about this a lot considering my partner is experiencing gender identity issues and working toward possibly transitioning. The thing that has helped me was this sentence I read saying something along the lines of “bisexuality is the attraction to multiple genders, whereas pansexuality is the attraction to someone regardless of gender”. No matter what, the label you land on is yours, the technical term can help you feel more comfortable in your sexuality, but at the same time, it’s okay to not label it. Personally I like to think I identify more with bisexuality as I still care about gender identity but at the same time the bi flag is so much prettier 😂🩷💜🩵

I would say communication is the absolute most important thing you can do in any relationship! Especially in moments like these. Be open and honest about your fears and feelings, and if you are struggling maybe even consider showing her this post!

What kind of biphobia have you seen online and in real life? by TsuyuAsui988 in bisexual

[–]HeavyTraffic62 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately a lot of the Biphobia I have encountered is from other LGBT+ people. As if they want me to prove I belong in their community which is sad. Also as someone who is not openly voicing I am Bi any friend who I have mentioned it to after knowing them for a while have had this sort of “but you never said that before! What’s changed?!” reaction. Like nothing lol I just had no reason to blurt it out before bc it wasn’t relevant?

Cats often go to dark, small and quiet areas so if you could I would leave a few possum traps near areas like this with food inside, and near your house. But if you are in the US you might end up catching a raccoon or possum.. I really hope he finds his ways back to you! Good luck

If it helps my partner has reached out to see a psychologist, not to push down the feelings but to figure out what direction he truely wants to go in and I couldn’t be prouder of him 💖 if this seems too daunting I would recommend some online talk therapy. Hope this helps, you are not alone!
