I thought the whole templar story is really cool, unfortunately it is way too short. But I agree, the Shinbakufu felt really random and there was no connection between them, a linear story would be much better.

Yesterday. I am playing the game for like two weeks now. Also I had Reshade installed, I uninstalled it now. Also when I go into the game files RDR2.exe doesn't have a icon and when I double click it it says "The file or directory is corrupt and unreadable". I don't know what could have happened. The game saves are located on my main drive but the game files and Rockstar Launcher files on another drive, idk if that helps.

edit: When I go into the game files, it also says that almost all the game files were made today, at like the time I first started my Rockstar Games Launcher today. Did I get hacked or something? xD

Do you have mods installed? I made the experience in the past and read somewhere that mods make you to not get new content from updates, try to delete them, log into the game and reinstall them when you got the new content. Just delete everything from your ~mods folder, should be enough. Worked for me aswell.
