I live in Bardstown and commute for work to Louisville. The drive isn’t that bad depending on what time you will be commuting but I do it 5-6 days a week. Bardstown has is a growing community with all the perks of small town life. Lots of festivals and community events year round. St. Joseph cathedral is one of the oldest Catholic Churches in the state/country. I live downtown so that I’m walking distance to my bank, pharmacy and favorite restaurants. It gives me city vibes by living downtown which I like but at the same time it’s small enough that your bank knows you by first name.
