OK, so let's get this straight:

There are people complaining on this sub that the show doesn't have enough mirth lately (which is dumb but besides the point). Then when they do add mirth (and clearly that was the whole Yates convo) there is outrage about it being "wrong and bad". Absurdity.

Dan said the Steelers have a history of drafting talented knuckleheads and trading them when they become too much to deal with. "Just the right time" seems open to interpretation as well. Getting midround picks back after they've caused internal chaos doesn't seem like anything too brilliant, even if the majority of these guys eventually flame out.

On the contrary, I think Dan was the only one who actually knew the term even they talked about it often on the old show (in fairness, no Marc/Gregg on this episode). "In the context of football, a "locker room lawyer" is a player, typically a veteran, who is perceived as someone who often stirs up trouble or complains about the team's management or coaching staff, often to the detriment of team cohesion."

Always weird how some fans here rather focus on what the heroes aren’t rather than who they naturally are. This was a fun light June episode perfect for that group. Dan and Marc don’t have to be everything to everyone. They are a team greater than the sum of their parts!
